I am a 75yr old great grandfather and have always been a little flakey when it comes to many species of spider. Let's face it, walking head on into the web of a Florida Golden Orb Weaver and feeling her walk across you face can be unnerving to most anyone. But jumpers are a different story. I have been in love with jumping spiders since I was a little kid. I used to drive my mother crazy because every time I found one I had to show her my new friend. Maybe it is time to start collecting jumpers.

Having a 3" Nephila on my face was always my worst nightmare! Also, Huntsman spiders in my shoes!! (The latter really happened) Jumping Spiders are the epitome of cuteness, though.

He might still end up using his acorn house. I got a walnut hide for mine about 7 months ago and he FINALLY started using it recently.

Thanks Kat! A jumping spider helped me get over my fear a few years back, but you have inspired us to pull the trigger and buy one. We’ve had Spike for a few months now, and love her to death! Never realized how fulfilling having a spider could be. On the hunt for our second baby! Much love 💗

it is about 21 celsius in my room and they act normal but on our next expo we will buy some kind of inextreme very subtle heat source for them. My boy just died bc of old age probably he ate drank and moved around until one day after a poop he stopped moving around and stood in one spot for days and when I came back from my grandmas I found him just laying there all cramped up. I cried and I still do miss him but Im so grateful for his presence in my life. My grily is still fine thank goodness but I neer plan on giving up keeping them. I had hoped to breed them but it just wasnt working out, hopefully next time tho, we even had a vendor/company name, Spoods4Moods/Spoods4moods. Love you cat, I got my jumpers thanks to you, you gave me a fantastci oportunity I never thought Id have, Love you

Wow I'm so glad pumpkin came out. I had watched a video, idk if it was of an unboxing, or upgrading habitats, but you had put a pumpkin in it, & she went right onto it and I'm like, go figure the spider you name pumpkin, goes straight to the pumpkin! 🤣 But wow she's so beautiful

Edward Scissorhands was such a classic movie. I loved how Johnny Depp played the character. You felt for him because he wanted love so much and had a ability to create with such a gentle touch. The music score was also very epic so I am right there with you.

Your totally right on heat mat. Spiders when cold go up and when hot go down so they will cook themselves unless you put it on the side of the enclosure which is safer.

The 3D printed items are built in layers that can collect bacteria, so give them a good wash every so often, especially the water dishes. Great video as always and much love!

Love seeing your jumping spiders but personally I would never poke them out of their nest webs. Their nest webs are their safe places, no humans allowed with my jumping spiders 😃

Jumping spiders are cute. I have tarantula slings and they are also adorable. I rehoused my blue C. Versicolor sling today and I held it to transport to the new enclosure and it did not want to go in. It was just walking on me and it made a little jump. Soooo cute. You got me into tarantulas so thank you!! I have 6 tarantulas now. My 1/2" pumpkin patch sling hasn't eaten yet and I'm a bit worried. Maybe a failure to survive sling? Long premolt? Its abdomen isn't discolored but idk if the pumpkin patch "bruises" like others. So stressful. I'm feeding cut up meal worms. Will get pinhead crickets tomorrow and try.

A problem with the spiders is that the one with the little babies has to big of holes to the point where the babies can squeeze through them and escape ❤ they are really cute though ☺️

Spider break me out! I’ve actually recently been bitten by a spider, but exactly sure what kind but has to see a doctor for it. Put RSO on it and never had to take the antibiotics I was prescribed. It’s healed very nicely. Whole point of this was to say I’ve been weirdly drawn to your channel and watching the jumping spider ones specifically and weirdly intrigued by them! Actually kind of love their faces!

Hello!!!!! I love all of your videos!! 🤗 You have definitely helped me learn more about my little Bruno!! I found him outside almost frozen to death 😔. So he’s in his enclosure and enjoying it from what I can tell! But I have a question if I’m able to?!! He’s still very tiny and hasn’t molted yet!! I drop a couple of fruit flys in his enclosure but he doesn’t seem to be eating! His abdomen is very small!! Would it be better if I grab a fly with tweezers and try to feed him??? Thank you for all your videos on jumping spiders!!! Tremendous help!!!

Just finished watching a video about tarantula bites by a channel I watch called how to survive who apparently claimed that people have been klled by chilobrachys as and saying that fire leg brachypelmas are worth thousands of dollars as well as the mysterious purple parachute tarantula 😂😂 ( wait is that actually a real t ). Tarantulas don't deserve their bad reputation just respect them and watch out for their hairs
