Great to see another legend getting into the sport again, always been a fan of Ivakin... His first comeback in 2013 didn't go well, it's maybe too late, but if he believes he can do it let's see it...

Tim Bresnan is way older than taras and he is still one of the best armwrestlers

Bresnan never stopped armwrestling like Taras, he kept himself in shape and at the highest level all these years... Ivakin disappeared for years, had a brief comeback in 2013 and lost, then disappeared again until now, and in both cases he wasn't/isn't as big and muscular as he was in his prime years in the early to mid 2000s...

Sadly no, outside of all the massive injuries he sustained (he's currently re-learning how to use his left arm/hand for everyday's needs, let alone armwrestling), psychologically this unfortunate accident was a huge hit for him, losing his father who pushed him to succeed in armwrestling, and his great friend Pushkar... It's sad to say but i don't see how he can come back to the sport like he was, but maybe he will surprise us, going to take years and years though...

Очень жаль что этот спорт на столько не востребован что такие таланты как Тарас просто не мотивированные, ни финансово ни как либо по другому, спасибо Мазуренко что хоть как то старается это поменять и продвигает этот спорт в массы!

I like that he shows respect to Larratt...seems like some of the younger russians made a bit too much fun of Larratt after his loss to Denis. Probably forgot what Devon was like 2008-2011

@Andrei Andrei2 But they still consistently/actively train and fight in arm wrestling without drop/leaving (Bresnan does, about Lupkes I'm not sure nowaday), different to the guy who retired for 3 long years like Taras.

Вот чем нравится Джон, что он и не в лучшей форме своей продолжает потихоньку выступать не боясь проигрывать молодым. Хотелось бы, чтобы все топовые спортсмены последовали его примеру. Хотелось чтобы и Тарас выступал иногда на турнирах, было бы очень интересно.

He looks thin and skinny compare to himself in the past. He used to has one of the most muscular arms back then (in ratio to body). His arms were musculous.

Ivakin's physique was ridiculous back then, he had some of the most impressive arms not only in armwrestling, but in general too... The guy has obviously great genetic for muscularity and great response to PEDs, he blows up...

First saw Taras in Pulling John when i was 16 watching Netflix. Taras at one time was a beast and a explosive top roller. At one time the dude was one of the best pullers in the world.
