Thanks for sharing your views. InshAllah, if time permits, we will cover the subject in future sometime. But to comment briefly, public lectures may differ greatly in the needs as to what suits best - they are meant for wider audience, in contemporary flavor & proficiency of general public, more relate-able words & phrases than equivalent primary language words, profile of physical audience at the time of lecture like their proficiency, age, flavor, preference etc - Literary sessions or lectures on poetry etc available on our channel will differ from these for the same reasons and will sound more literary & so difficult for bigger part of the audience. Additionally, not to mention spoken/written differs too. So quite a few considerations but lets be vocal and very clear about kids that they should be allowed and facilitated to communicate in the language of their parents. All measures must be taken to support it in early years. Depriving them of their first language and forcing them to learn an alien one at cost of their first language is a crime and unfortunately its a widespread disease which we greatly condemn. @@ERDCPK but won't you agree that a language is learnt through listening and communicating not merely from reading and writing? If it was through reading and writing only then after passing our intermediate examination we all would be talking in pure Urdu unlike this mix and match that is normally used. I think that people who listen / benefit from your lectures are mature and literate enough to infer the meaning of an Urdu word that is being used. I learnt through Salman Sahab's lectures that مربّی is mentor, and a couple of more words. As for during the early years children not being not allowed to communicate in "an alien" language and encouraged to communicate in only their parents language, I think there should be an asterisk... It isn't necessary that the child has the same first language as their parents! A wide range of parents listen to these lectures and it depends on where the child is being brought up... Nonetheless, Salman Sahab's lectures are very enlightening and beneficial for parents from different walks of life. Jazakumullahu khairan

آپکی رائے کا شکریہ -انشااللہ مستقبل میں زبان کے موضوع پر مکمل بات بھی کسی ویڈیو میں اپلوڈ کی جاۓ گی - مگرآپ کی بات کے ضمن میں مختصراً ٢ نکات بہت اہم ہیں ، ایک یہ کے بچوں کے معاملے میں پہلی زبان کی اہمیت کو سمجھنا اور اس کا حق ادا کرنا - اور دوسری یہ کے ہمیں اپنی زبان کے استعمال پرفخر ہو نہ کے شرمندگی کا احساس. اگر یہ دو کام ہو رہے ہوں تو کسی بھی زبان کے سیکھنے اور استعمال کرنے میں کوئی پریشانی نہیں. بلکہ انکا انتخاب کر کے سیکھنا اچھا ہوگا- صاحب علم لوگ کئ زبانوں پر عبور رکھتے ہیں اور اپنے حاضرین کی ضرورت کو ملحوظ خاطر رکھ کر اپنی گفتگو کرتے ہیں. سلمان صاحب کی اردوادب اور شاعری پر گفتگومیں آپ انداز مختلف محسوس کرینگے اور عمومی لیکچرز میں مختلف. انشاللہ تفصیل آیندہ کسی ویڈیو میں آے گی.
