Hope you enjoy this review! Let me know your favourite part of this update below :) EDIT: I'm aware that there are some weird visual glitches throughout this video. Really not sure why, as they weren't present in the raw footage or in my editing timeline - something must've gone wrong when exporting the video or uploading to youtube. Sorry about this, hopefully it will be fixed in my next video!

If it's a glitch from exporting, it should be visible in the finalized video. If they aren't present in the finalized video, it's an uploading glitch.

@@Game_Blox9999 yeah, it was an exporting glitch - not present in raw footage but present in the final video, prior to upload (I just hadnt noticed). might be because this video was 60fps, whereas normally my vids are 30, so I mightve accidentally changed some settings

One thing I really want in a future update is being able to change the flight sounds. Like classic, movie, modern, etc. I just really need the classic drumbeat in this mod and it'll be perfect.

I really want a setting where you can set how difficult the controls are. Extreme is the most finniky and easy is basically dalek mod controls.

Hones5ly I like how difficult it is. It was mentioned in an episode of the show that a TARDIS is supposed to be flown by 6 people, so it kind fits the lore.

I think the crafting system was split off from the main mod at some point. It’s now called “Compact Crafting”. It’s mainly for modpack makers, since it’s configurable.

Had a go on this one immediately after watching this review, new favorite Tardis mod easily. The ONLY thing I could ask of this mod is a speed upgrade as once you've unlocked the higher coordinate increments, it still takes just as long to cross those distances as it did when you first get it up and running. Other than that I love every single thing about this mod, 10/10.

This mod looks amazing! The only criticisms I have for it is that the crafting recipes for certain items (like the amethyst screwdriver and such) should be a bit more complicated. Not much, just a bit more as they seem rather easy to get. The other criticism I have is that the skill tree definitely seems too small, although I wouldn't be surprised if the mod makers plan on expanding it anyway, lol. But, aside from those two things, thisbis genuinely one of the best Tardis mods I've ever seen!

they don't, they are the same for every interior. that's a very cool feature suggestion - although I'm not quite sure how it would work, as the consoles are in a pre-determined, separate space to the interior

When I try the doors to get to the corridor hub after terraforming, the 2nd door never opens, I can only go back the way I came. do you know a fix for this?

This is probably really late but as a warning for anyone playing this mod in Survival: The Gravity Well inside the TARDIS that leads to the Eye of Harmony will actually still deal fall damage to you when you hit the floor so your best bet is to either remove it and tower up and down instead or, at the very least, play with keep inventory on just in case it kills you one time.

Hello! I was wondering if with future reviews you could cover the customization side of mods a little more? By this I mean what can be added/worked with using datapacks. EDIT: I just saw another comment saying you didn't cover it, but I'm asking if you can at least cover the features you can customize, not a full on tutorial. That way it is easy to compare the mods based on the ability to add a ton more interiors, consoles, etc.

I totally get what you're saying. However, I have to prioritise the main features of the mod, and sometimes I can't even cover all of them if I want the video to release on time. I'm also not great at data packs in general, meaning I wouldnt really be able to provide any insight or opinion of them, which I try to do with the other features I showcase. I'll try and work out a good way to showcase the customization features in future videos though

ive been wanting to play a doctor who run using tardis refined 1.19.2 fabric, but i have no idea what mods i should add to make it good, can anyone suggest some 1.19.2 fabric mods that will work well with it? i want a nice scifi run but i just dont know where to start since im new to modding

I would recommend using 1.20.2, since that's the version this update is for - if you use 1.19, you won't get any of the features present in this video. you might also find there are some better mods available for 1.20.2, since it's a more recent update :)

it does have the 14/15th exterior I believe! it doesnt have the sonic though, as it only has 1 type of sonic (the amethyst one)

Also, Doctor Who is the one show I've constantly returned to simply because of the technology within the TARDIS. I love that the lore for the TARDIS's iconic look is because of the chameleon circuits getting stuck on the look of a British police box.

its java only I'm afraid. I don't know of any good bedrock mods - bedrock modding isn't really much of a thing, as it has completely different code and a marketplace etc that makes it quite difficult to easily mod

I've had a look in the discord, and it says the team found some issues with the neoforge version before release, and are currently in the process of fixing them and uploading a new version. id recommend waiting a couple of days and checking again, or playing the fabric version in the meantime :)

i actually tried designing it, but it's basically impossible to make it on an accurate scale, since there's so many details. id have to make it really big, which would also make the tutorial quite difficult to make/follow. I'll see if I can find a way to do it later down the line tho :)

thats because this mod is for fabric or neoforge 1.20.2, not for the latest version of minecraft, which is currently 1.20.6. to install fabric, head to their website: fabricmc.net/

Just download the correct fabric version via the fabric website, and then download this mod using the link in the description and put it in the .minecraft/mods folder. if you need help downloading fabric I'm sure there's plenty of tutorials online :)

i was going to add this mod to my current pack ive been messing with(its just a bunch of random mods i find cool) but its not for forge 1.20 yet guess il just have to wait then again i could whip up a quick fabric pack to mess with it for a bit

I believe the team are moving away from forge (as many mods are), so I wouldn't wait for a forge version to come out. there is a neoforge version available, or i would highly recommend making a fabric pack :)

Hi Dt10, I'm working in a project call "Ender Time". It's suposed to be a series written in the 70s. It's a militar Time Lord who travel in the space and time to find the Doctor. I need the Tardis interior. It is like a Tardis of the classic era. I forget, this is a series for Minecraft. Do you wanna be the producer? Like the producer of the constuction.

I think that's one thing both this mod and adventures in time does really well - decently regular updates. there's another update in the works for TARDIS refined at the moment too!

theres actually already a mod out there called the regeneration mod that does this! I wouldnt really expect to see it in tardis refined anytime soon, as it's more focused on the tardis (as the name suggests haha)

dumb idea for a tardis mod: add interactible buttons, switches, whatever doohickies you want, where the only thing they do is randomly demand to be interacted with while using the tardis, and if you dont do it in time then the tardis gets damaged in some random way, like crashing into the ground or exploding or hurting you with sparks or steam. the trick is, there wouldnt be any alert or symbol for which of these buttons need to be pushed and in what order, not at first that is. you need to "learn" how to use the tardis so until youve used a tardis long enough, itll just blare at you without giving you any context of what needs to be done. and since its random, seasoned players who are replaying on a new world will get to have that experience the doctor gets when they have to relearn how to operate the tardis all over again. though maybe itd just be annoying lol

Would you be able to point out some areas where I move too quickly? I try to slow it down more than you'd see in some other minecraft videos, but ultimately I have to show all the features and play it as it would be played by someone trying the mod. I'll try and slow it down a bit in future videos though :)

The problem is more or less when you showcase some of the objects, I think you get so excited that you spin around, and move back and forward. I apologise for my unfiltered opinion though, I just got very sick and nauseous. Around 3:39 is a good example - a more steady camera work would have help me.

I was hoping noone would notice haha my minimap levels are on max, and I never normally have this issue - its only happened since I downgraded mc versions for my previous video. I googled loads of solutions but nothing worked... hopefully I'll have it fixed for next video :)

The TARDIS Refined TARDISs are made by scratch, meaning a fair amount of abilities are locked behind your TARDIS growing and advancing. Dimensions are a big part of that :D
