I hope you know how good you've had it, fellow Aussies. The Ford XA, XB & XC are some of the finest muscle cars ever built. I don't see much, over here in America, that I would rather have than a Falcon GT.

Not any ford here in the states no. Roadrunners and cudas here are the coolest 70s muscle we have. Fords were pretty plain after 1970 because of emissions and stuff but Chrysler decided to keep paying the bill to keep making some cool cars. Where American ford muscle dropped the ball Australian cars picked it up. Neighbor has a pretty sweet superbird here in the states. I want to make Al Turner's XY/XW coupe they never let him build. Everything down to the assembly line logistics was figured out and sourcing the coupe bodies from the Us, how they were to be modified with sedan body panels etc then it was cancelled by bill bourke because it was going to cost them too much money to build.

@@westerlywinds5684 No, there is no direct relationship. The Falcon sedan was actually more common than this coupe.

I think we're probably the only country that truly followed the US style of muscle car building... I love our Aussie classics... Ford or Holden... Both awesome...

America and Australia respected for making real muscle cars. I like the parelels of American and Aussie cars- .American shelby Cobra and Aussie XC Cobra 🐍 .American Chrysler Dodge Charger and Aussie Valiant Charger .GTO and Monaro 🇦🇺🇺🇸

@@roadwarrior1451 So both 302s? It was the second 200 cars that came with the 302, wasn't it? Apart from #351 which had a 351 Cleveland and #001 which had a 302... You're an absolute legend for keeping two of these gorgeous beasts alive. I have a 77 XC that belonged to my late Grandfather, but she's just a 4.1... She's still my baby and I love her though...

Love the sound and look of that car it my favourite falcon but the wheels have to go not enough rubber on the back and the style dose not suit the car but I also understand that budget and availability and priority are what can make the difference between go's into a project

Someone may get a great idea , like strategically place an official, with obvious holden leanings n distaste for Ford , in a prime possie so he can call the FORD jumped the start and make the coupe start a rerun . Just so we can hear that sweet roaring engine all over again .

I used to love the way the Chev heads would say Oh no crap motor doesnt rev no low down grunt blah blah blah Clevelands are no good Well correctly set up cranks good rods and 4v intakes in 2v small port heads correct cam carby exhaust (never over 75% exhaust vs intake) and you had a screamer and no oil starvation because you drill the valley (Under intake manifold) and oil restrictor and 7-8 litre sump CYA Love the sound and the iconic look Thanks for sharing
