Hey Charles IF you use an interface there is free loop VST plugin called Gloop which is real simple and easy to use -great lesson -so say over say cm9 am9 Abmaj7 and Galt which chord tones would you go for ? to give the best sound?

Hi Gene, thank you very much for this recommendation. The issue I've had with software loopers is how to use them whilst also recording my video's audio in the DAW. Do you know if this is possible? With regard to your specific example, you could target any of the degrees of your suggested chords, but the Root, 3rd, 5th, and 7th are usually most effective. So "C, Eb, G, Bb" then "A, C, E, G" then "Ab, C, Eb, G" then "G, B, Db or D#, F" in your selected chord progression. Any path you like through those options placing a strong note on beats one and three of each bar. I hope that is a clear enough explanation!! Thanks again!
