He is the greatest Living legend Artist in Tabla Playing. Being an Indian I know Ustad Zakir Hussain and seen 100s of his performances since childhood. But when started watching Tari Khan. I could not resist my self from calling Ustad Tari Khan Saheb a Greatest one.

both have their own unique qualities , tari khan can do things on the tabla zakir can't , and zakir can do things on the tabla that tari khan can't.

I believe both can play all things although it may take some time and practice. There's nothing they both can't play. But tari sahab has clear bols than Zakir sahab

This solo was played at my sisters wedding on the 27th of October 2007. It was such an honour to have Ustad Tari Khan Sahib bless us with a performance. His humility is on display as he always regards Guru's darbar a blessing upon himself. I was also very privileged to have an opportunity to play tabla with him that day so a big thank you to Ustad ji for giving me such an amazing memory.

I respect your sentiment, feelings and love of people.... but reality is that if you go back in history you will find same people were responsible for the reasoning of separation, who are creating divide in india right now by using race and religion card... exactly same mentality cause other minority’s to ask for independence then.. I am sure you are aware what I am talking about... just have to be neutral and honest point it out

Couldn't have chosen a similar Taal. Our Gurus have sung Partals and His Sangeet and Raagis sing difficult Taals like Dhamar or now days 11 1/2 and 8 1/2 beats cycle. However, I really appreciate Ustad ji conduct and his words at a Gurdwara.
