Reading of the poem authored by Imam Abd-Allah b. Alawi al-Haddad
Habib Umar requested all students who memorized the poem to stand up and read it out loudly. The poem was read before every rawha class i at the Dowrah 2019 in Dar 'ul Mustafa, Tarim, Yemen

Had this on repeat all day and it brought me to tears. I was blessed to visit Tarim in 2006, how time has passed and pray I will visit with my kids in the future.

Remain ever present at the door of your Lord, leave everything else aside. Ask Him for safety, from the abode of tribulations. Let not your heart be distressed, all things will soon fade. Allah is the Ordainer, and this world is constant flux. Let not your worries augment, what has been ordained will come to pass. ---------------------------------------------- Your own thoughts and preferences, leave them behind. Together with your stratagems, and only witness He Who created you. Your Patron Lord, the Guardian, indeed sees all you do. Entrust all your affairs to Him, and maintain the best of opinions. Let not your worries augment, what has been ordained will come to pass. ---------------------------------------------- If only? why? and How? are questions asked by fools! Remonstrating with Allah, the One who created, Foreordained and decreed, everything in truth. Dear heart, take heed, and abandon your obsessions! Let not your worries augment, what has been ordained will come to pass. ---------------------------------------------- The Almighty has guarenteed, necessary provisions. In the Revealed Book, a light for mankind. So satisfaction is obligatory, and displeasure forbidden. Contentment is comfort, while covetousness is insanity. Let not your worries augment, what has been ordained will come to pass. ---------------------------------------------- You, and all of creation, are all mere servants. The Lord does to us, whatever He wills. Your distress and your sorrows -woe to you- bring no benefit. Ordainment has already foregone, so remain calm. Let not your worries augment, what has been ordained will come to pass. ---------------------------------------------- That which is meant for others, will never come your way. While that which has been portioned for you, will soon be attained. So concern yourself only with your Lord, and what is required of you. With regards to the obligatory realities, and the Protected Sacred Law. Let not your worries augment, what has been ordained will come to pass. ---------------------------------------------- The Law of the Chosen One, and Guide and Giver of glad-tidings. The seal of the Prophets, the illuminating full moon.

Rather than memorizing poem if memories at least a sentence from Al Quran you all benefit a lot with Allah's blessing.

Maa shaa Allah, this is true. The majority of these people in this gathering have memorized the entire Quraan, along with several books of the Islamic sciences and poetry of the saaliheen such as Imaam Al Haddad.
