But you can move to just about any African country that you want and they will accept you with open arms especially if you’re doing business. As time goes on, you will see more and more African countries promoting it openly for our people to come back home. POINT OF CORRECTION to Mr. Nasheed. The African diaspora do reciprocate with African American, we listen to your music, we watch your movies, we fill up stadiums when you come for performances. We cannot argue the fact that AA fought and continue to fight for their right in American and as a result of that the African diaspora also benefit from it, the truth of the matter is that immigration laws are made by the US government not an AA organization. In the same way the African diaspora that choose or force to migrate to America does not make laws of the countries they come from their government does. USA does not object to dual citizenship but it does not acknowledge it either. If you choose to be American, that’s the only Citizenship they acknowledge, if you hold a citizenship from another country that does not concern them… there are specific countries they say you can’t be both. There are a few ways to Citizenship in America; you can seek asylum as a Refugee, you can win a lottery visa, you can marry an American Citizen or the best one, be born in America. All these things I mentioned has nothing to do with AA, they are the laws of America. Let’s be clear, America does not do this just because, they also do it for economic reasons, they need people to work and boost the economy. When these people migrate here, they work very hard and pay taxes… why do they work so hard? Because the countries that they are coming from are in the word of Donald Trump are Sh*t h&le Countries… This is a fact. And if anyone from Africa or the Caribbean disagrees with me, don’t come on here arguing, pack your bags and go back to your country. And these laws does not only benefit the African diaspora, it benefit everybody around the world, Asians, Indians, Europeans, Spanish etc…. So why does an AA wants dual citizenship in these countries that lacks economic stability, their own people are seeking to go elsewhere just to survive. People does not migrate to Africa and the Caribbean unless they have so much money. There are no opportunities in those countries. Even if they offered people to go there for free, if you don’t have money you will suffer. Each country has it own laws, for example, The Republic Democratic of Congo does not allowed dual Citizenship, so if you leave the country and become American, you’re not longer Congolese, but the neighboring Rwanda acknowledges dual citizenship… so if you an American and wants to be a Rwandan, you can get married to a Rwandan and become both American and Rwandan, and if you wants their Citizenship without marriage there’s a path to it.
