So there are thousands of Ave Maria's by different composers. Some are very well known like the schubert one or the caccini... so this album is comprised of a selection of compositions of Ave Marias. Tarja composed one herself too. Its pretty great!

Given that Ave Maria is a prayer, throughout history there have been hundreds of version put in music, though the one everyone is most familiar with is Schubert's (which is in German and you already reacted to Tarja singing it in 2006). This Paolo Tosti's one is in Italian. In 2015 Tarja released an album "Ave Maria - En Plein Air" performing 12 different version of Ave Maria, some of which are pretty rare and unheard off, and all from different periods, countries and music styles. She also compose her own version of Ave Maria. The whole album is magnificent and was recorded inside a church in I think three days, with all the instruments and Tarja together LIVE, because she feels that that's the only way her voice can be more properly captured (especially her classical voice). Of course there are backing vocals and choruses that she added later on, but everything else was left unedited. Every year since 2003 she has been performing Christmas shows in Churches and other classical music venues, so there are many many many videos of her performing this songs, other than Pie Jesu and Panis Angelicus and else. This is from the album. Italian Francesca Paolo Tosti wrote this in 1881. It doesn't say but I think this is in Italian language she is singing. This Ave Maria album is simply amazing and there is also one Ave Maria written by Tarja. If you haven't check also out her Christmas album, I just love it.

There are several Ave Marias composition, the gernan one iscthe most known one by Schubbert, different songs. Paulo Tosti is the composer ofvthe ine you just heard. Tarja has an album just with Ave Marias from different composers and one is a original by Tarja.

The version at Metal church Tarja wrote it and it's in her album of Ave Maria. I've listened to the whole whole album and they were all different.

There are many different compositions, different songs with different melody and in different languages, with title "Ave Maria" by different composers, so it's nothing weird that it sounds different, because it's completely different composition than previous "Ave Maria" songs you reacted to. There are something about 4000 different "Ave Maria" compositions. This one was composed by Paolo Tosti I think in 1881. I really want to see your reaction to Caccini's "Ave Maria" performed by amazing artist Kokia, she recorded it on her album "The Voice" from 2008 and there is live performance from the same year, she added some modern twist to it, but sounds amazing. :)

There are over four thousand Ave Maria`s, this one was composed by Paolo Tosti. He was an Italian composer and music teacher, born in 1846. Her vocal control and breath control really shine here. This is, to me, the most beautiful Ave Maria and the most beautiful performance of the song. The video and the way she looks, the dress, the way she carries herself.. perfection. And that voice. Tarja tecnicamente brava e interpreta bene. Italian opera leanguage is not easy as it seems. In particular the pronunciation poetic Italian of 19 century . Tarja very professional Opera singer technique. Is SOPRANO LIRICO more powerful than Leggero and less than Spinto or Drammatico. (bravi siete una bella coppia)
