Tarja has a beautiful voice. Her vocal range is fantastic. I can listen to this song over and over again. This is a really fantastic song.

Compared this to 2018 Raskasta Joulua performance. I like the style sung better with this one, but otherwise she has developped still. If she sang with this style today, it would be the best performance ever.

love her voice and the lyrics of this song but the cd version or the live version from wishes to eternity is better, it has a more "fantasy feel", this is like jazz or soft rock, it totally ruins it for me :( i hate when they change the instrumental part of a great song, just to give it a different feel, and ruin it .

Sorry but this version doesn't works for me, call me old fashioned if you want, but this song was perfect as it was and Im referring to the 1982 snowman's soundtrack, nightwish did a faithfull cover with Tarja and it was indeed great, but some things aren't mean to be changed or altered and for me "walking in the air" is one of those things.

You know what. I enjoy many Nightwish cover singers. MoonSun band, Alina Lesnik, Minniva, Rehn Stillnight for example. Sometimes they have quite different takes too. But beauty comes in many different form. I'm in the opinion, that songs are indeed meant to be interpreted many ways. You may have your one favorite version, someone else has another.
