Never understood why they chose to showcase recoil changes, with basically stripped guns with high recoil… like they’re spraying a stripped sa with a zoomed in vudu :/

@@bridytv Yes I will put 12 pistol grips all over the front rail. With so much plastic the recoil will actually go downwards and I will have to compensate by aiming up to keep my gun on target.

all the operator does is get control of the recoil so it stops raising after a certain point. He doesnt automatically correct the aim, thats up to you once these changes are implemented. 10/10 good change imo

Shot an ak74 and a Tar21 at Battlefield Vegas and after second or third shot on full auto they’re easier than you think to control.. recoil is actually closer than other games. Hit 27 out of 30 shots at 20m with the AK 74. The more you know.

You can get control of a irl gun full auto after several shots yes, but you are still pulling down the whole time. This change makes it super weird compared to how most games work and feels bad to use. I would prefer stronger more consistent recoil any day of the week for a better experience.

no way u saw that recoil clip and thought it looked good. gun is literally floating away from your shoulder forwards and upwards as you shoot it. you know recoil pushes a gun INTO your shoulder, not away from it right ? looked super unnatural. also. the random jerkyness of where the reticle returns to when semi-auto tap firing is gonna make semi auto absolutely useless, and full auto meta will be even more dominant. both from an immersion AND gameplay perspective the recoil just looked bad.

Idk about you but a straight line up looks extremely easy to control in full auto which is the main complain currently, guns have a weird up and down recoil and sights instantly lose focus, they fixed both of those, to me it looks like a csgo type recoil control. "it looks bad" recoil has never looked good on screen in any game ever apart from mw2019, which if it wasn't because of the camera movements being so smooth and the animations being top tier it'd look just as ass as any other cod. The gun going away from you is weird I agree, but also who cares when the issues are not about how bad it looks, it's how bad it is to control. I genuinely don't care if we go from full auto meta to full auto meta, every game even the most realistic tactical games out there still have a full auto meta for those skilled enough, if you expect bsg to be the ones that figure out the formula to make semi in any way shape or form viable then idk what to tell you.

@@antonellostasi With all due respect I dont think they are pushing the gameplay to its limits, from all the footage we saw it seemed like a bunch of new players just throwing themselves at each other. No serious movement was used in the gameplay we saw, hell I dont even think I saw one of them jump or freelook a single time.

The thing is, I would give more trust in someone that plays competitive pvp for a better input in regards of game design, if BSG devs start testing their own game they will release a pile of shit of gameplay like tarkov: a survival game with no survival elements, that wants to reward players if they commit into pvp (meanwhile they keep slowing down the game, giving advantages to camping or generally a very slow gameplay). I guess only time will tell, let's hope for a game that actually will give PVPers some decent PvP.

Because it literally didn't fix any of the problems. From the looks of it full auto meta is about to become a whole lot worse than it already was. Yes you're right you just pull down and then it becomes a laserbeam, but we don't want laserbeams, we just want a normal recoil system like literally every other game out there where your gun just recoils consistently and you manually pull down.

It seems people are whining that they actually have to *try* to aim now, and may even have to use semi at longer ranges….which far as I remember, is something Nikita always wanted players to do

ive been playing for about 4 years now, personally id say wait until after the christmas/december wipe, from everything promised thats the make or break wipe for me, also a lot is getting added changed by that patch or during that patch so you'll have to struggle to learn so much and then possibly forget about it anyway if you play beforehand. UNLESS you wanna play the game for map knowledge then sure, its not a bad game but youll either become addicted or hate the game

@@Vorgto I bought Tarkov for a tactical shooter so I beg to differ. I’m a slower player to begin with, I like flanking and positioning/working with teammates to take ground. The ideas they were bringing to 12.12 were good in theory but they were implemented really badly. Inertia would’ve been good if it didn’t feel like driving a boat. Recoils would’ve felt good if they didn’t slam the recoil dial to 11 to need the lazer beams. I just want a tark where the low recoil m4 and the higher recoil more powerful guns can coexist. 11 was just low recoil laser beams, but after 12 it’s just been 7.62 (both x39 and 308) because the lazer beamy guns don’t perform as well. I want that trade off. I can use 5.56 for low recoil but I gotta pepper up the dude, compared to if I used 308 I gotta hit him a lot less comparatively but the recoil will be worse. We see 7.62 SBRs with better recoil performance than a fully built m4 now a days simply bc high ROF guns have a lot more recoil
