I mean that’s the point, the whole rivalry thing is childish, down to Owen and Tommy hiring someone just because he’s good at baseball. I liked the fun of it, even Judd that simultaneously appeals for calm but taunts Carlos by saying that cops are jealous of firefighters. They were all being childish leading to the game, which balances out when they help the cops out at the fire at the end.

@@JoJo-rz9zx I’m talking about the entire episode. The entire rivalry thing is introduced and « resolved » in this episode. They ARE childish, extremely so, but it fits because it’s a very silly episode, so it’s not jarring. Like even the rescue at the end features stoned cops, the tone is intended to be light hearted so to me it’s not jarring that they’re acting so childish. It’s usually more serious in tone you’re right, so I understand what you’re saying. I just think that for me it’s not off putting. What is is killing off Gwyn

@@anylove370 it didn't put me off I just found it childish and over the top. I think we needed to include the scenes on this channel of TK trying to calm his father and the 126 down and Judd telling Paul, Mateo and Marjan that the police are first responders too just to get some balance.

Why not show the opening scene when both TK and Carlos where at the crash, they never talked to each other but Carlos was standing with him, Tommy and Nancy as an indicator of whose side he was going to be on. This channel sometimes confuses me with the scenes it shows. It's all good though, anything is appreciated!

It's supposed to be mostly Tarlos scenes or scenes pertaining to Tarlos. This scene you see an interaction between tk and Carlos-cute little exchange of eye contact and smiles-when they were on scene there wasn't really anything going on between them. Also the create may have just missed a scene as they were putting them up.

I seen it, don't understand why it was not on this channel as it is pretty important to put these parts in context and both TK and Carlos were in them, at one point standing together with Nancy and Tommy. Also Carlos had important dialogue also!

I didn't like this episode much, and not for the clips shown here but if you watch the full episode the amount of times the fire fighters made fun of the police and called them doughnut eaters. At one time they were calling them doughnut eaters and that they can't run up a flight of stairs with doughnuts in each hand, while the 126 themselves were carrying paper bags of food and take away out of a resturant- take a look at yourselves in that moment. It just felt a tad too much at times, it was Judd who started to reel in the childish behaviour of the 126 when he said remember they are first responders too and risking their lives. I just actually don't like how the police are portrayed in Lone star in general. You only have Carlos and he has yet to complete a case from start to finish without the help of Owen and the 126- police are capable of wrapping up cases and catching bad guys without the assistence of fire fighters. I mean at the end you had all the cops high on maurijana looking like complete idiots and keystone cops (Marjan's word) while the 126 step in and sort the scene out and rescue the police officer. In 911 Athena and the police she works with are not treated this way. This is called 911 lone star not 126 lone star. More better writing for the police aka Carlos please. Didn't Owen once say when Carlos was suspended to him that' "Im pretty sure it's a little bit tougher today in your uniform than in mine." And at the end confirmed it to me when the police man went to the firehouse and sudo apologised and had dinner with the 126, I did not hear an apology from the 126 back for their childish behaviour or name calling.- I dunno the 126 FIREFIGHTERS came off a bit too arrogant for me in this episode. RANT OVER

I agreed about the portrayal of the police. BUT I thought the donut eater comments were funny because the police gave them a ticket for blocking traffic while they were in the middle of a rescue. Also... he towed their fire truck... for parking it in a fire lane so I can see them being mad and annoyed and making a lot of fun of them for that XD. I definitely get where you're coming from for sure though.
