i feel like tarot is something that im meant to do. its 3 am in the morning and something told me to learn and get started

Been through the hardest time in my life in 2018, deep sorrow n depression I did hurt myself n soak in alcohol alot and in the last week in December 2018 I suddenly changed my perspective , I don't want to be at that spiral again , it had to be ended that's when I met tarot , it brings me out of the dark n understand my true self.

I bought my first deck yesterday. Actually 4 decks. And I really only connected to one deck out of them. I didn't realize they were so powerful. The connection is real 😍

I've reasently started tarot reading and I think I'm doing pretty ok for now. I can feel it when something is right and when something is wrong. And I have developed my own way of reading (even though I ofcourse have a lot of work to do). Maybe my open mind set is helping me with my intuition and tarot. Truly helpful video! Thanks a lot.

i just got my first ever deck today so thank you for this video. i was like a kid on christmas haha. it definitely is difficult to remember it all at first, i know a few cards and their meanings well but the others its hard to keep up and remember, but this is my first experience with tarot so i won’t put myself down that fast. also, is it normal to get headaches when channeling? lol. 🌈✨❤️

so I've been wanting to do tarot for the longest and I finally was able to get my tarot cards. I read the guidebook a little bit and immediately started reading people. Ive done 8 people so far and they say that I resonate so well. I feel like my intuition is pretty strong. I did reverse and upright together too. It was amazing how much potential I actually have😶

Great Video! I absolutely agree about the Witches Tarot, I received them as a birthday present around the time they first came out and fell in love with them. Another deck I fell in love with that I use often and has become my go to deck is the Everyday Witch tarot by Deborah Blake which is fabulous and has a whimsical witchy aesthetic 🦄

Excellent video, Tess! I started reading tarot when I was 16 after a friend had passed away. I started by using the little book that comes with the cards. After about a year or so, I threw the book away and started to base the interpretation on what I see in the card. You're absolutely right that the cards have to resonate with you. I've had 3 different decks in my life and I've only really connected with my 1st deck. I'm trying to get back to my tarot practice and trying to find a deck that resonates as much as the Londa Tarot deck did. I may need to check out the Witches Tarot deck.

I'm brand new and just got my cards a couple of days ago. This morning I had a question. So I centered myself, shuffled and asked the question. I cut the cards and chose the top card. I thought, "Hm. I wonder if that's the correct way to do this." So I centered myself again while shuffling, cut the cards and pulled the top three cards for past, present, and outcome. The 3rd card was exactly the card I'd pulled the first time. I felt such validation. Even I can do simple and quick readings that are divinely inspired.

Omygoodness yes I started dreaming I was flipping the decks in my hands . I ordered my 1st set of cards they arrived today 🥰

I loved this video! I have been reading Tarot for 5 years now and I love it. I think that in the beginning, you need to have a really good book. I think the best way I learned was to learn the Minor cards first and then move on to the Major. What I love is when you come to the point to where your intuition takes over and you receive messages. This is a really great video because, Tess, you explain it so wonderfully. I've had many strange and wondrous readings. The Star tarot looks beautiful. I brought my first ever deck today (well a couple weeks ago but it was online and just arrived) it's called the Luna somnia deck and it looks so nice! A book can with it and it's fairly easy to follow, it's a small book that details each card, reversed as well as upright. even though the books small it gives me a chance to learn myself without always relying on the book. It says to do it every day, and I plan to do that! since practice makes perfect and I won't be cramming so much information in at once.

I recently got my first deck and have been learning to do readings! One of my favorite things that I’ve learned about myself is that I pretty much can’t do a reading in my bedroom because it’s on the upper floor of my house and I can’t connect my energy to the earth. I love doing outdoor readings now!

I like your video as you state that we shouldn't get overwhelmed by all the reading and studying in order to learn to be a Tarol reader. I like letting my intuition guide me and letting the messages from source come through. That is not something that is "learned" by reading. First time I ever did a Tarot exercise I was only working with the Major Arcana and it was the VERY first time. I drew the card that coincided with my zodiac symbol. It's now my favorite card. Temperance.

The best way to learn is practice. Offer free readings to people to get some practice. It can be frustrating though. It interrupts and throws off your flow when you're having to stop and look up every cardi But memorizing takes practice. The best deck I ever ordered was Learning Tarot Cards by Witchy Cauldron. These cards are the typical Ryder Waite and they have the meaning printed on the front of the card including the reversal meaning. They have the chakra, planet and some have the zodiac sign. They have on there also if the card is a yes a no or a maybe. There's one or two that has both yes and no meaning they can be either. The Major Arcana also has like an extra summed up short version of the upright meaning. This deck also includes 2 extra cards with a Planets chart and zodiac chart on one and chakra chart and one card daily readings info on the other. This is the perfect deck to learn with There's a new release of this deck from the same company. IDK why. They changed the Reversal meaning on all of them. There's an editing error where they put the same reversal meaning on 2 different cards. Also this deck doesn't include the two extra cards that has the charts with the extra info. IDK why. Maybe it was supposed to have and they were left out on mistake? IDK Make sure you get the one with a circle on the box with zodiac names and symbols and planets symbols going in the circle Would be interesting to know if the mistake and leaving out those 2 cards was just a mess up on that one new release deck or if they're all that way

Uhm, a late question: I have been looking for a REALLY good deck since last November, but none really popped out to me or resonated to me. Every deck I see seems blur to me. So, I decided to draw my own deck card by card, and alternating the traditional Rider-Waite into images I could "understand" and "resonate" (for example, the Empress' shield turns into an apron in my deck, making her look like an actual mom figure). However, I'm having doubts as to wether or not reading with self-illustrated tarot deck would actually be effective. Should I trust my deck?

Unfortunately, I have no where to 'ground", where I live. I have pine straw, and no grass. Also, where I live, there are fire ants. There nests are lethal, stepping on one! You never know where they are a lot of the time. So, I'll have to stick with other methods.
