Hi loves!
I asked you all on Instagram and Snapchat what concealer review you all would like to see next on my channel, and the majority chose this one. This concealer is one that I was pretty excited to try since it was described as being full coverage and hydrating. I really hope that you all enjoy this video review!

Just a little PSA, this concealer is great when not set with any powder. If you are the type of gal/guy who can't live without setting your under eyes, then there is a learning curve with this concealer. Before you even think of getting any powder near it, you must wait for it to completely dry down first. That's why Sarah's under eyes looked (IMO,) immediately textured after she set them. Trust me, something about the Maracuja oil in this formula keeps the concealer from settling into fine lines, so dare to venture out without powder and see if that helps any issues you might be experiencing :)!

Exactly! I have learned that with very little to none setting powder is how it works. Elle Leary shows how to do this concealer with one quick swipe of Hour Glass ambient lightning! For me, works fantastic as a very-very light setting powder, if I need it, because sometimes I don't and it does not crease at all!

Thank you for saying this!! I just bought this concealer and before I set it it looked so good and then as soon as I set it my skin looked sooooo textured and patchy and dry. I’m gonna try not setting it bc I love how smooth it looks without it. Thank you!

I felt so lucky the second I tried this! Lol. This is the only concealer that works for my super dry, sensitive skin and stubborn dark circles. Not to mention, now that I found the shade for medium olive skin, it's a perfect match. It doesn't settle into my fine lines, but it does wear off. I sometimes keep it in purse. I feel like type of primer plays a huge role in settling, btw. Oh, and if you put a tiny bit of Shape Tape on top, on the most stubborn areas, it lasts longer, almost setting it, and has slightly better coverage. Loses half the dewiness, though.

Hey girl, i always wait for your reviews, you know -i am a concealaholic and have realy dark circles, since i was a kid. (Now i am 42- and always on the hunt!) i orderd this concealer before i saw your review- than i saw it and was so scared to be disappointed .... (costs a lot and shipping and so on..) but you know what? It works for me- really good! (Other concealers i like: shape tape/ urban decay all nighter and the naked one/ dior undercover. I use a primer oil before- I set with the kanebo sensai loose powder) 😘😍🙋🏼

I had know clue what product I was purchasing until I did the swap in Sephora. It was beautiful and it was definitely creamy. I see no creases!! 🙀shade deep sand 🙌🏽❤️😍

This was my third video and I seem to have fallen in love with u for the way u explain the product and review it💕. Thanks a ton I am in the shade nc 30 with very dry skin. After 2 hours of foundation my face gets chalky and everything seems to be ready to be dusted off my face . I use mac and Gorgio Armani foundation . Can you suggest a foundation for dry skin. I love both the shape tape and the creaseless concealer. The creaseless concealer works best using your fingers. It is brightening and dewy for my dry under eye and the shapetape is more matte. But it you mix both concealers, it makes the perfect satin matte texture.

HI! Try to mix it with the Tarte Shape concealer.... I use the creaseless concealer using a brush and then I set with the Tarte Shape concealer and it works perfectly for me...

I don't know how you get your shadows covered so well! I also have circles just because (had them my whole life) and I can never get them covered well. Even with the Becca under eye brightener

I have the original in the tube and its completely crease proof. I use much less and use a brush. It's a blessing for me.

I let it dry and just added some matifying powder and it lasted for more than 8 hours (even in 33 degree Celsius weather). I used Bioderma cream as a primer. The concelear works but you have to know how concealers work for your skin type.

I recently bought this concealer. I wanted shape tape but couldn’t find it in my local Sephora. Watching your review makes me glad I chose this instead of continuing to look for shape tape. I need the hydration, dryness would be bad for me.

I feel like applying/blending it with a brush would make it look cakey or just not as blended as when you used your finger. I was hoping it would have been a good one too--I'm on the hunt for a hydrating concealer that doesn't settle. Darn. P.S. I LOVE the third lip color you had on. :)

craziiepink3 I got to admit I enjoy it. It's dewy and I can't do the dry type of concealer I have to set the life out of it but it hold up on me! I don't think it's the same as the tarte maracuja that's comes in the tube, I have too and it's a different texture this one is thicker!

I didn’t even remember this concealer until I saw your review and so great the shade range is extended. the Tarte shape tape doesn’t work for me as it’s just too thick and too drying. Sadly this doesn’t look to work much better so back to looking for a great concealer New to ur channel. And look forward to catching up on past vids and future ones So glad this vid came up in my recs as I really enjoyed ur review. The close ups are so appreciated!

I never buy make up that’s expensive, I usually just buy drugstore. But I’ve always heard good things about tarte concealer so I decided for the first time to ACTUALLY put out some money for this concealer. All I can say is I’m so disappointed, coverage is a 7/10, it’s super dewy, hard to blend, thick consistently and creases. $32 down the drain🤧🤧

@liesl - I agree! I think I’m going to return it and stick to the regular tarts shape tape. The shape tape has wayyyy better coverage for my dark circles and this I have to keep applying it. U should try the regular tarte shape tape from ulta or Sephora and if you don’t like it, you can return it after opening and or using it……

I really like tarte shape tape concealer, but I hate how it’s so messy when you close it the product comes up and out and squeezes outside the tube , you have to waste a lot of product. Does anyone else the same problem?

Loved this concealer however I found it didn’t mix well with a lot of their foundations? Ironic ? Maybe. But I use a matte foundation and then this concealer for a more Life like look. I use my finger but the only issue I have with this is that it doesn’t dry!! I hate setting it! Then it looks caked. So maybe I should try a damp sponge but I dk

Yes me tooo always watch another disappointment for dark circle women and men I’ve given in love tape shape it is the best coverage but I’m using make up revolution more it’s hydrating and I find it just looks prettier on me like I don’t have thick concealer on

I have mature skin, when I use a small flat brush to apply concealer it doesn't sink into my fine lines. Do you think that the tools used to apply concealer can make a difference?

Was not used properly! No settings. Especially with damp blender. Concealer that have oil should not be applied this way

IMHO I think it looked like it covered more before you went over it with the damp sponge. The warmth of your finger should help it melt in better.

Do you feel like perhaps you didn’t apply enough of it? You mentioned you didn’t do the triangle method with it. Maybe you should try that to see if that makes any difference at all.

My dark circles are as bad as yours.. Mine looks greyish brown.. I asked the sephora employee to use a color corrector which is way orange than what u are u using and it looks better than the other eye with no corrector.. The coverage is not that great but it fix the crease problemm.. So u have to do other things to fix the coverage

You aren't the only one who said a big NO on this concealer. It is KNOWN for being a THICK paste and no matter HOW much you moisturize your under eye the greasy, thick texture doesn't work on MOST people. There are other reviews that say the same as you (and me!) . I am not sure what kind of skin or undereye type can wear it but those that have just the right eye area for it really like it. I have crepiness under my eyes and this stuff is AWFUL for me. I NEVER use powder because of the crepiness and I had to keep tapping it and patting it while I wore it because it gathered under my eyes so bad. I BARELY used any so my dark circles showed really BAD but with that tacky, mess under my eyes I didn't DARE add more.

The creaseless concealer is MUCH better than shape tape when applied using a different routine. I found that its best to use without color corrector or too much product under it. This concealer should be applied after eye cream and primer set a bit. The foundation can go on top, but you wont need much and if you set this with a powder, less is more. I have had great success with the coverage and the long wear.

Eye primer! I always use an eye primer. I hydrate my undereye area for a good half hour and then apply primer. I find when I do this my concealer lasts sooo much longer (even when I set). xxx 🌹xxx

@@parinazaz4044 at the moment I am using: No7 Stay Perfect Eye Shadow Primer. Then I do my eyebrows which allows the primer to set. Hope this helps you. xx

I am so amazed that the Cosmetics industry has tricked young woman about fine lines, when I was a teen I did not concern myself with fine lines nor did it concern me in my 20s 30s or 40s It was in my 50s that fine lines became an issue. I don’t get it but hey that’s me

Sassy Susan How has the industry tricked young women about fine lines? That makes no sense to me. If you had zero lines underneath your eyes until your 50’s you must be blessed with good genes or dark skin because that’s the first place we age!

I am much older and have 100% more wrinkles-not lines 😂 it was better for me maybe because of the hydration qualities. Just a thought. Anyway hope you post some additional wear tests. Thank you!!!
