it may also be more orange looking based on your undertones. peach correcting is best for light to dark skin tones but fair skin should stay in pink and yellow ranges for undereyes. violet to cancel yellowing of the skin. let concealer sit for one minute before blending to offer better coverage on dark spots.

I really wanted to try these, but the peach one is too dark for me and the pink like you said is too light. I definitely don't want to take the step to mix two colors when they have other correctors that are a better color on their own from other brands. My inner corner and eyelids and are different tones than my under eyes. I feel so extra with different correctors in those places but the difference is noticeable. Exa just restocked so I placed an order. Yellow concealer helps take down more severe correctors especially with pink under eye setting.

the tarte ones do look nice. I just received the EXA pink one last week when they restocked and I’m happy with it. I’ll wait for tarte to stock these at Ulta, I’d like to see them in store.

Not sure if it was ur intention to do your whole cheek bc it looks like you only had a patch on each cheek so my recommendation would be. Pat a dot INTO the red patch not spread out like that. That way you can use foundation and concealer to cover it. If you do ur whole cheek like that it might be harder to cover bc the hue. BUT if someone wants to or needs to do their whole cheek like that then set with a light sweep of translucent powder that way when you put on your foundation and concealer 1 it wont move the product and 2 cover much better. The foundation and concealer will help stick over the green corrector. Just a tip hope that helps. And I always suggest after primer or color corrector before you use foundation to set ur face anyways. It helps with oil control and helps keep makeup for a longer time. Again hope that helps lol. Just little things I've learned along the way. I use color corrector almsor every time I do makeup as well.👍

Also let me tell you what you need for redness.. the skinmedica TNS ceramide cream… I have the serum and the ceramide cream and was shocked when I woke up w no redness after using the ceramide cream (it’s also a lot cheaper than the serum!)

I use pink because I'm super fair but my darkness under my eyes is brown & sallow not so much blue. I have yet to find an affordable peach that isn't straight up orange on me. I really appreciate how thorough you are.

Tarte has a small corrector compact in a balm that is a peachy pink. Formula is a mix between Bobbi Brown and Becca. It’s the best IMO. Fair skin and severe darkness.

The side where you mixed the colors looks SOOOOOO good. Both sides look good but the mixed one brightened more as well as corrected.

Correctors are so complex 😘one needs to right tone of green for redness, that green is very green lol not muted with a skin tone, try add a bit of a skin tone concealer with it to mute it down for fair skin a white based green will not stand out. Point being make sure the green is the right hue or tone depth. Xo ✌️👍

Have you ever tried their Amazonian clay color corrector? I think it may be more of the pink peach color. I have heard it’s really good

Please try a green corrector on your eyelids and let us know how it works or how to make it work. Sometimes I don’t want to have to wear eyeshadow with my sensitive eye skin. L.A. Girl green corrector is massively pigmented for anyone needing it.

@@taraball1030 The L.A. Girl green corrector? It does work for dry skin. It’s a spot type of product. I’m massively dry. If you don’t need so much pigment and are light skinned, I like the NYX HD corrector for the tone and blendable formula. Chanel tone is good for my skin too. Exa is a great formula but the green shade isn’t a bright enough shade for me and not as intense on the pigment.

It looks nice but it looks like the red spot on your face is still very noticeable. Interesting how pigmented it is but the coverage isn’t that great

Thanks Blair 🥹🖤 found this video and your channel through a google search and I’m impressed! I’ve had bad acne recently that I’ve had trouble not picking at so it ends up being really red and makes me super self conscious. I usually don’t wear a lot of makeup but i want to be happier and feel better about myself and think feeling like i look better will help. for someone with minimal makeup skills and knowledge, this video was so helpful! I actually bought the green shape tape before watching this so it kind of lead me to you along with google 😂🖤 i subscribed!
