The maybelline foundation looks soo much better after application and at the end of the day. I have a tiny suggestion: I would love it if you could film a check-in in natural light because we would be able to see the texture of the skin a lot better especially when you are trying to show us the problems with the foundation. But this only if you can and have time for it. Xx

After you said sooo many positive things about this maybelline foundation I bought it, and OMG.. I'm so impressed. For the first time ever I think I found my shade. I had been using ones that are slightly darker. So I'm very glad and happy with this foundation. Mine is in the shade 20 Cameo

I love their powder foundation! But their shade range is too dark for me and I've got a tan, their lightest shade is too orange so have to powder with a light powder. Works so good with acne prone skin

I don’t see what’s so bad about the tarte shape tape foundation its colour range beats that of a lot of other foundations, but of course in 2018 you can’t release a foundation with less than a thousand shades 🙄

No offence soph, I watch all of your videos, I’m a big fan but I wish you’d find dupes that are cruelty free.. you’re basically saying the maybelline one is better and you should use that one instead of Tarte, but at least Tarte don’t torture animals just for our vanity.. a cheaper, cruelty free dupe would be much appreciated x

Isabella , I wouldn’t use either personally, I just have a problem with brands that test on animals when it really isn’t necessary and I’d just like to see the younger generation having positive cruelty free role models and actually make a positive difference to ban animal testing

Actually as she is in the UK, and buying products within the EU, none of her cosmetic products have been tested on animals, which has been the law here since 2013. The ban on animal testing within the cosmetics industry applies to all new cosmetics and their ingredients sold in the EU, regardless of where in the world testing on animals was carried out. So actually nothing on sale within the UK or EU has been tested on animals, so it is cruelty free. However in other countries such as China and the United states these laws are not in effect so, in those countries their products can be tested on animals. A quote from the RSPCA website says, "The use of animals to test cosmetics products or their ingredients is banned in the UK and all other member states of the European Union. Since March 2013, it has also been illegal to sell cosmetics products within the EU which have been, or which contain ingredients, newly tested on animals." So technically the foundation she has used is in fact cruelty free, and nothing has been tortured in the making of it. However the same could not be said if you were to buy a Maybelline product in China or America. x

I had braces for 7 and a half years and you're not alone textures absolutely made my teeth tingle and feel weird I can't tell you why it did that but I can tell you you're not alone! Especially chalk and similar textures(i was in school when I had braces so I had to use chalk most days and the feeling of it on my fingers was like nails on a chalk board to my teeth instead of my ears lol
