This is by far the BEST musical on Broadway....I saw it 8 times before it closed. I love Jenn Gambatese (Jane) She stole my heart.

I wished I could have seen this when it was on Broadway in the US I'm glad their in talks of putting it on tour or on the west coast! And I might be going to see the Dutch version this summer so it should be interesting considering I know very little Dutch haha! Thanks sooo much for posting this!!

Phil Collins in concert... For Tarzan. I would have thought I'd died and gone to Heaven. :D I want to see this musical... I never got to. My big trip when I was little was to Disney World, where I saw something LIKE this, but probably not as good, though I still loved it. :) I would love to see this one, Beauty & The Beast and The Little Mermaid- Oh! And Tangled on Broadway. The Lion King too, but I can cross that one off my list- I'm going to see it ON Broadway in NY here in two months. :)

Tarzan will be in GERMANY (HAMBURG) this Octobre! yes!!! In my homecity:-) we have casting shows running on TV at the moment- who´s Tarzan- who´s Jane? *gg* Next Friday we will see:-)

I read that it got some bad reviews and the show was closed in the summer of 2007. After watching this, I wonder what's so bad about it? I have the soundtrack and I love the new songs! I wish I could watch the entire thing

i saw this on broadway! it's my second fav broadway show right after hairspray!

I miss this boradway play so much it was great the music the scenery why it closed remains a mystery to me there just wasn't anything bad to say about it.

6:00 I DEMAND to see this guy go and do Grease. He should totally be the lead male role. :D His voice would make "Summer Nights" REALLY fun to listen to.

The Hamburg Production is much bigger and better- according to the bungee things and Cast! In Germany apes, butterflies and Tarzan are flying over the audience´s head, all over in the audience hall- the air, the circle and the stall are used for actings... I´ve seen it many times... So, people from te US: Come to Germany- you must see this wonder!

HEY! The guy who plays tarzan is holly's friends= on that one show! He's so talented, i woulda loved to see it live! Looks SO cool!

I agree; some songs had a little akward wording for the lyrics, but it was still really good and the actors who were in this show get MAJOR props for all of their aerial stunts (I think I'd kill myself just trying to swing from Stage Right to Stage Left, never mind the spins, flips, twists, and other moves, lol!). But they made Kerchak's death very anticlimatic, and had a few other differences from the plot of the movie (like cutting Tantor, which was kind of necessary for the new story).

Not all people on broadway is gay. Like candydog647 said that is sterotyping. There are a lot of straight people on broadway. Just because people like to sing on stage and do what they love to do, doesn't mean that their gay.

Phil, you didn't write songs for a Broadway show, you wrote songs for a cartoon that were recycled into a Broadway show that didn't win any Tonys and garnered one nomination for lighting. Now take your Oscar and go back to working on "Buster: the Musical".
