Mickey was who broke this game with that fucking grab. Was inescapable, huge damage and you can grab the opponent from the floor with it again. If you watch versus matches of AoF2, most people use Mickey and use this shit. If only they'd make this grab a command grab that uses rage or make it escapable like the others, he'd be more balanced

@@BeanMan157 I remember in the SNES manual, he was already a successful boxer and accidentally killed an opponent in the ring, and that's what led to his downfall. We don't know if he lived in the slums per se but that stage (and music) really have a tragic vibe to them. Then in this game he's starting to make a comeback hence the much more energetic music, his new look, and stage.

I agree, he was a total goofy bum in the first game and they really improved everything about him here. Ironically, they seemed to do the opposite with John!

LOL what. Looks much more fluid, faster than AOF, sure, but all, and I mean ALL the artiness is gone. Color palette went from dark, gritty to plain terrible, backgrounds are an eyesore, no inspiration whatsoever. Doesn't even look like AOF anymore. AOF was prime SNK firing on all cylinders, this is just way over the hill. Same as Samurai Shodown: SS2 was a timeless masterpiece then franchise just fell off a massive cliff...

Mickey and Robert was my favorite character in this Art of Fighting. I don't understand why he was never in the King of Fighter games. Out of all the Art of Fighting games, this was the best one in my opinion. I loved the sprite size.

0:58 the reason everyone hates Mickey in AoF2.... edit: 11:18 it's shown better... Mickey is the ONLY character in the game that you can't "break" the normal Throw, and you add it to the fact that you can "meaty" throw in this game and any Throw from Mickey turns into a touch of Death.

A minha teoria é que a NRS (MK) usou ideias da Snk para os MKs mais recentes. Só para citar duas correlações que eu faço. Uma coisa é o estilo dos diálogos, que parece inspirado por AOF2. É tipo mais escrachado e na bucha do que diálogos dos jogos da Capcom por exemplo. Outra coisa é que o sistema de variações parece inspirado pelo velho Slash e Bust do Samsho, só que expandido.

Esse estilo de diálogo de AOF2 eu ainda acho o mais perto do ideal. A Snk errou demais na mão no Kof Xiii. Seria bom se voltassem a usar esse estilo do AOF2 nos Kof's futuros.

Hello Everyone I'm Prime Zero L from looking at this video I would say they should give this character a chance to fight in the game series of King of Fighters and I like Boxing one sport before wrestling and this character isn't half bad now that I look at him and not to mention he looks a lot like Ali one of the greatest Boxers that ever live and they should give all other characters a chance to fight again in the New King of Fighters the ones that everyone hasn't seen them in years in any King of Fighters Games and some of you Fans & People would have to at least agree with me on that.!? ♤♡♧◇🥊

You know dudes & dudettes I had my fair share playing Art Of Fighting Series and one my favorite characters out of all of them would have to be Micky Rogers knowing this dude fighting style is Out-Boxing style and he is reference off of: [Muhammud Ali] and he really not reminds of Muhammud Ali he also reminds me of me of course since I'm a Out-Boxer myself that I double as a Bare-Knuckle Boxer 🥊 and I'm a MMA Fighter I was train by my old man who train me since I was a little sad about a few years back in the year 2016 June 3rd that day I was so sad to hear that my favorite Out-Boxer dude had pass away he was always be the best and my favorite Boxing 🥊 Champ 🏆🏅always and at least to me and others I raise my cup 🥤🍺 to you Muhammud Ali he'll always be around and be the best always don't you think so dudes & dudettes.!?¡¿ ♤♡♧◇€£₩¥☆

when you master that game it's great, but many people got discouraged by the difficulty level of that game. The SNES version is easier

Snk may rename the fighters of mirror matches with other names... For instance "Danny" for the mirror of Micky.
