Based on the 1995 action movie, Batman Forever is a critically panned sidescrolling beat 'em up. 2 players can take control of Batman and his circus acrobat sidekick Robin to battle Two-Face and The Riddler and other standard lackeys. It combines the Mortal Kombat engine with a generic sidescroller.
Keirden ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/K... ) uses both of the superheroes and rolls through the game in a speedy 15 minutes.

Man, it sure was crazy just how often Val Kilmer and Chris O'Donnell were constantly rolling around the Batman Forever set. You could tell they were really dedicated to their craft!

I remember playing this game with my little brother when we were little. I remember it being brutally hard. Turns out, we were doing it wrong. We were playing it like a fighting game, when we were supposed to be playing it as a Sonic game. lol "Rollin' around at the speed of sound. Got places to go, gotta follow my rainbow!"

It's the Genesis. If you don't know how to work it's soundchip, it always sounds awful. Go watch the OG Batman Genesis run. God tier music

@@Radman1889 The problem is western developers (mainly American) are almost always crap with the Mega Drive chip, while the Japanese developers are almost always great. That comparison you made was yet another distinction of such.
