Ok so this is basically my guess but I think attacking in the middle of jumping reset the button cool down and let you jump more in the same amount of time

It because it's a TAS (tool assisted speed run). They can do things like slow down the game or use savestates to make pixel perfect moves that no human player could accomplish. In this case they perfectly avoided the hitboxes.

while technically possible, faked/cheated TASes simply don't happen and don't exist - noone has ever newsworthily faked a tas, ever (according to my lazy research)

Note that it is possible to avoid the saws while sliding down the wall, ie during a wallgrab. It looks to me that the TAS times the wallgrab to occur precisely when the saw is closest, which amounts to only a few frames. But I agree, it looks ridiculous and like black magic.

It uncaps falling speed and, more importantly, removes hardfall. It's basically the current patch version of inventory drop

me too, for this i can tell for sure that its quick slash(3), MoP(3), dash master(2), sharp shadow(2). that brings us to 10/11 notches and overcharmed, so probably either shamans or strength.

now, after having gone and looked at the p5 video, that charm build includes: quick slash(3), fury(2), shaman's(3), nailmaster's(1), and strength(3) (i actually went and looked up damage values to determine strength lmao). they could still have another 1 notch charm, or even a 2 notch charm if they have legacy quick slash, but thats as far as i can tell.

No *official* shortcuts. Player found shortcuts are allowed, but things like the breakable floors & walls put in by the creators are not.

when you nail hit and then wings it will make you not have the little dip, itll just go straight up, making it faster and higher. thats also whats making it look so fast. humans cant really do this consistently, its like a 2 frame input lol.
