Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions (Special Missions in Europe) contains 300 action-packed levels with enough scintillating Snake-sneaking setpieces to last a lifetime. Originally a part of Integral, the 1999 Japanese re-release of Metal Gear Solid, it received a 2000 standalone release in North America and Europe as an extra bonus to satisfy fans hungry for more tactical espionage action. Watch as theenglishman sneaks, shoots, punches and investigates his way past the world leaderboards, all just to see a low-resolution piece of concept art from a game that came out twelve years ago.

Alex Silver Although his effort in programming this speedrun is commendable, please take note this is not actually a player doing this. TAS stands for Tool Assisted Speedrun. As the name implies the run is done by a program doing all the command inputs wich results in this "perfect run". Although it is highly entertaining to watch keep in mind a TAS run is, in essence, fake.

+Daniel Babativa He doesn't throw the C4. He put 2 C4 in the same guard. In MGS (at least, in PSX), C4 doesn't active a chain explosion or explode all C4s at the same time, instead, they explode 1 by 1 (in the same order you put the C4). The first one kill the guard and move it "faster" to the camera, and the second one explode also in the guard, but close enough to the camera for exploding that too.

+Amalokch The randomness of Snake's position could only be changed by restarting several times for some reason. I tried a few other things, including waiting several frames before entering the level, but nothing else seemed to change the RNG seed.

OMG so much Ai abuse, these genome soldiers cant keep up as you run circles around them XD superior vision due to their gene therapy MY ARSE, they cant see 6-8ft in front of them you can run past, those vision cones are not worth Jack nor S**t! XD Ah wonderful stuff this was a thrill to watch, well done indeed! MGS still has a an incredible sense of style, still strong to this day! BTW! 11:03, Love that crouch under the lasers, crouch, spin 180, get up and your passed the lasers, SLICK A.F. that move! oh and OH MY GOOD LORD! 13:00 well done for find that glitch in the crawl space, you just enter backwards and it looks like you go first person for a second which i assume helps F**k the game and you stand up and you glitch through the floor texture and take everyone out, thats madness I never knew about that, very well done! XDXD I know this is tool assisted BTW but its no less impressive when you see it run back in real time!
