Super Mario 64: The Green Stars is a Super Mario 64 rom hack made by Kampel, released in August 2013. Also listed under "hacking" in the credits are Kaze, Frauber and VL-Tone.
The hack has a number of differences compared to the original game, such as an increased count of 130 stars, harder level design, and (as the title implies) green stars. The game is intended as a fan-made sequel to Super Mario 64, and is often praised for feeling very similar to the original game.
The trio of authors power through the hack with incredible speed, showcasing the various levels and landscapes, abusing the game's programming errors, and collecting all 130 stars in under 100 minutes.

I liked how for a brief period, there was the music track from SMB2 when you're on the 'outside.' Thanks for the upload. This looked/looks like an absolute blast to play =)

@@SeppelSquirrel I know I'm a year late to this, but I believe the walkabout uses the theme to Rosalina's Comet Observatory from Super Mario Galaxy, and Whomps Forest uses the Fungi Forest theme from Donkey Kong 64.

I think the walkabout is Starship Mario from Galaxy 2, not the Observatory Also, Sandy Seaside Bay is Beach Bowl Galaxy and Molten Magma Galaxy is Melty Molten Galaxy, both from Super Mario Galaxy. (Edits are added as I watch the video) Giant Overgrown Garden is Maple Treeway from Mario Kart Wii Rainbow Star Heaven is Good Egg Galaxy from SMG

I'm watching and playing Super Mario, and making Super Mario videos for Mario Day! This rom hack is really fun to watch being tased! I also recognize some music from Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2, and parts of this game remind me of those games! The Super Mario Galaxy games are my most favorite games ever and are some of the games, along with Super Mario 64, I am playing most for Mario Day! :D

There's a glitch in early romhacks in which Koopa the quick's route gets messed up due to entering a stage that's too large, so to fix this you need to reset the game. The stage "Dark Dank Abyss" that we enter after the reset doesn't fall under this "too large" category, so we can complete it before the stage that has Koopa in it.
