Rockman 2 Claw is a ROM hack of Mega Man 2 by Tsukikuro and the sequel to their Rockman Claw ROM hack. As with its predecessor, it includes new enemies, new bosses, and new stages along with returning bosses from existing Mega Man games but with different AI. It also includes lots of music that's borrowed from other games such as Romancing SaGa, SD Gundam G Generation, and even Mega Man 10. In this run, longbao ( tasvideos.org/... ) decides to complete the "Wild Version" of the game as fast as possible. The Wild Version differs from the regular version by being much harder, making the bosses more aggressive and adding more stage hazards.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the boss music from Final Fantasy Mystic Quest used for the bosses here? It took me a bit to recognize it. Awesome!

Okay, 4 minutes in and I figured out the gimmick. It's new boss weapons (slightly impressive) and overtuned enemies. Could have done better on the music. I've heard better in Mega romhacks. As always, please avert your gaze during the end of Wily stage fights.

I believe this was done faster than a normal person could do, but more analysis is required before I reach a conclusion.

I see Mega Man 2 is considered the most iconic Mega Man game. However, I personally love Mega Man 3 the most, because it's the first game Rush appears. I really enjoy the idea of robotic animal. :) It's cool that not neccessarily robots should look humanoid and have 'human-like emotions', they can be also emulate animals as well. ;)

That, and going from playing 3 to 2 exposes some of 2's play control quirks, while going from 2 to 3 feels like going to fucking heaven

I’m shocked you all like Mega Man 3 - I despise it and it’s probably the only Mega Man game I actually dislike! Crazy how different opinions can be.
