Metal Gear Solid is one of the original breakthrough titles in the stealth gaming genre. Nobody told the author this however, as he steamrolls through Shadow Moses Island in record time with guns blazing. This run is played on the hardest difficulty and earns the "Big Boss" rank on completion.

BizHawk, but in that time it was made by PCSX-RR or PSXjin (rr stands for re-recording). (PSXjin was almost the same but with lua. compatibility)

This is a TAS or Tool Assisted Speedrun, this usually means that the gameplay is massively slowed down and tuned frame by frame to be perfect gameplay. This is not a literal human behind a controller playing at that speed, check out the tas videos links up in the description for a more detailed (and probably better) explanation

@@CurrentGenGamesWithNick TAS can be very interesting and show you what is technically possible (and sometimes impossible) within a game. Speedruns can be interesting as well. Some speedrunners use techniques discovered by TASers and the other way around.
