Not only was Castlevania: Symphony of the Night the first installment of the Castlevania series on PSX but also the first PSX game to have a published run (tasvideos.org/1246M) here. Follow Dracula's son Alucard as he glitches through the castle on a quest to end his father's life.
This run beats the game at level 1 with 0 experience, and the only official (recorded in the bestiary) kill being Dracula. A few other enemies are killed using a glitch to avoid the kill being recorded or experience being awarded.

Alucard knows he cannot keep his father dead, so he treated the entire castle to a feast so at least his army is too happy to start killing the humans

I can identify most of the glitches used in this speedrun, from zips, to big toss, to reverse shift lines. All thanks to DragonBlitz. Good job, TAS runner.

I don't understand why Alucard get no experience when he kill the boss.

It's a glitch called "Revenge Tech", iirc if there's another hitbox inside both the enemy's and Alucard's hitbox, then the game doesn't consider Alucard to be the one who killed the enemy, therefore he doesn't get experience for the kill
