I wanted to do this project long time ago, but i didn't want to deal with heavy RNG manipulation on the entire run, but i finally decided to give it a chance. This run is not perfect, there's some time saves if RNG is appropiate, i didn't do most of these because of the drops refill manipulation:
- Better Stone Man pattern manipulation (i didn't get a perfect pattern just waiting a couple frames, i had to do menu).
- Getting a big weapon refill with the first enemy on the second screen of Dark Man 1 Stage instead of the second (16:39).
- Getting a big weapon refill with the blue flying enemy instead of the met to take advantage of the falling speed (like the NES TAS) on the third room of Dark Man 2 Stage (17:58).
- Early hit to Dark Man 2 Boss with Crystal Eye. I didn't do it because i had problems with the drop manipulations on the final part of Dark Man 3 Stage and i had to wait more than what i saved with the early hit.
- Faster Refights Skip with a perfect Wily Press pattern, i had to lose like 30 frames to get the perfect patter doing the skip slower.
- Faster manipulation for the perfect pattern of Wily Capsule, the pattern is set since the start of the fight, so it can't be manipulated doing jumps and shooting during the fight (like the NES version), i had to wait 30-40 frames to get the perfect pattern.
- Better usage of Star Crash during castles, i used more Star Crash than i had to use, so i take a big weapon refill on Wily Stage 2 (24:33) because i needed to kill Wily Press and the final hit of Wily Capsule, if Star Crash usage is better, maybe it will not be necessary to take a big weapon drop (that cost 40 frames).
