Tekken 2 bio: "Kuma is highly intelligent for a bear, to the point that he can learn specialized martial arts and understand basic Japanese. He is also, as is to be expected, ferociously aggressive, and harbors a taste for human flesh. Despite his animalistic tendencies, Kuma is also quite lazy, and takes any possible opportunity to take a nap."

Kuma is an interesting character in tekken 1: voice of King, moves of Jack, and his own hitbox. This is also the original kuma that passed away from old age I believe.

You're right, he died of old age. Interestingly, he also has Michelle's "G-Clef Cannon" string.

King 1, Armour King 1 and Kuma 1 are the only confirmed playable character deaths in Tekken. The rest are just absent for some reason or another, but not confirmed dead. Well, and Heihachi.

@@AlgaInventory Jun's still alive, but her whereabouts are unknown (no pun intended). It's unknown what happened to the first Kunimitsu, however, but I don't think she's dead, either.

I remember being sooo hype playing the Tekken 1 arcade port on Tekken 5 in 2006. I only had a physical copy of Tekken 2 so I was right at home with the stiff controls lol. I still love it to this day though.

@@Ultra_Kuma Its good if you grew up playing Tekken 2 like I did. The least best in the series but on its own merit as an early 3D fighter, I give it an 8/10. 7.5/10 if we're going forward in time.

I've said it before but Kuma looks terrifying in this game. It may just be an optical illusion because of how massive the model is, but it looks like Kuma can jab you from halfway across the screen. I haven't seen Tekken 1 Kuma's entire moveset but I wouldn't be surprised if throws were the only moves that aren't identical to Jack's.

Kuma the First seemed to have some potential as a character, but it's wierd to think that he never got his revenge on Paul. On another note, watching your TAS makes me want to play some of the older games again.

쿠마만이 가진 오리지널 기술은...없죠. 베어 허그 하나만 독자 모션이고 나머지는 모션 스왑. 통천포 역시 원래 최초 원작자가 미셸꺼니까 이것마저 중복. 그래도 철권 1 자체가 무지막지하게 다들 강하긴 강합니다. 통천포 그 성능 그대로 가져와서 잽 발동 중에서 잭 친구들보다 훨씬 강합니다. 😅

말해두지만 잽 이득 프레임만해도 12 14입니다. 잽을 하나 맞았으니 하나가 더 들어가는 짤짤이같은 느낌이고 통천포나 풍신권 같은 빠른 띄우기가 들어갑니다 😊
