| General Information |
This is a TAS (Tool Assisted Speedrun) and not a run achieved by a player. This shows us what the theoretical absolute limits of the game are by using a tool that allows us to program the inputs frame by frame, as well as control any random factors using a one-time RNG seed setting at the beginning of the run. In addition, any irregularities that may occur due to different frame rates are removed. This can result in strange gameplay behavior in some places. Overall, however, this represents a fairly accurate real run.

the way Helpy was defeated reminds me of how in Pizza Tower one of the bosses starts the fight with short vulnerability so if you dash as quickly as you can you can damage him less than a second into the fight

I feel that sub 13 will be humanly done in probably the next five years, impressive TAS, and wow squid 2 was absurdly optimized.

Sorry, but nope, with the current set of strats we have: You could get every chapter Chapter IL record (which would be absolutely insane, since it requires alr soo many precise inputs and such a good RNG) and you would still be over 20 seconds of a sub 13 away… The 3X barrier is pretty surely the last one we will see, but 2X is theoratically (that would require wayyyy too much) the absolute human limit If we somehow find a non major glitch strat that saves 30s, then we could theoratically achieve it…

holy heeeck that was impressive! I wonder if the Mr. Dance strat would be possible to do as a human if you changed the mouse scroll wheel so scrolling up jumped (and scrolling down would skip voicelines, which you already do.)

okay so since we're already trying to optimize the consistency: With jumping on scrollwheel (yeah) + putting the mouse between a notebook and your keyboard (to stabilize the position of it) + Moving Right on Enter (to have a big key with which you do easier one frame inputs) + Pausing after the 2 frame perfects (to give your hand time to get on the mouse) it gets to a 1/40'ish strat You can find a vid on this channel where Ive gotten it twice in a row

Ty! By jumping in different timings and setting a specific RNG seed in the beginning it gets manipulated

So only precisely when you jump (and no other movement) further manipulates it?

No, thats just the most basic way of not loosing time and manipulating it. There are a lot of other possibilities which most of the time are slower than the original time. (Moving, Pausing, etc.)

is there viability for saving a few frames in D05 by waiting a block or 2 away from the door so that you have more velocity passing under the door?

Thats generally a good idea, but since non water movement / non bubble movement doesn‘t have acceleration & deceleration that doesn’t work… This actually saves a frame since your pixel position gets manipulated one pixel further.

tbh probably never (at least not in a small team); it just takes too much time. This one took alr almost 150h… If we would do the same for 100% it would take more than 1000h because its much longer and even more heavily dependent on RNG.

Really Clean Lines, However This Should Be Possible As A Human, I Still Feel As A Sub 13 Is Possible, I Have Recently Got Back Into Speedrunning And This Is A Record I Have To Take Back.

Okay, because way too many people are saying this, I will describe it now in detail: It is simply not doable... Since this game has a lot of RNG and way too many tiny mistake opportunities, its not even close to be possible. Enmy & my IL-sob is both round about 13:15 (in my case resulting out of 2600 runs) The Chapter sob stands at 13:24 which is what we theoratically consider as possible. However even a 13:2X would require Miracle Dance, a RNG which I got once in 30h in Chapter E and an insane run over everything else as well. Resulting in the last barrier which we will realistically see with the current set of strats is a 13:3X.

@@meistermoehrchen Nahh Man, You Don't Understand The Logic, RNG Is One Thing But There Are More Small Glichess Being Discover Daily, Nothing That Wouldn't Be Allowed In The %Any NMG Run. Like The Basket Ball Glich Or D18 Skip, People Will Find Those Gliches And Get A Sub 13 Run.

@@asodiacayve6101 Just to note: There were 2 new strats (which are saving combined 1s) in the last 6 months, so the chance of getting that amount of glitches (which don't fly out of nmg) isnt realistic at all

Look, nothing huge but there was one thing y'all were missing. And its a game developer. Who know how to glich hunt. How to find and search every inch until he finds something... Bet you never seen this before ( Check Discord DMs ) so I think ive got a long way to go
