Danes Villapa , as someone who had been there I can relate to what you are going through. I just want to share a glimpse of my testimony praying that it will help you. I was half hearted towards God, I tried and failed so many times that I gave up and lived a life that didn't glorify him. Deep down inside I still felt the need to get closer to God but I didn't know how seeing all my past failures to succeed. The good news is that this time it wasn't me that went looking for him but instead He came to me and I was really in a bad place in my life and so depressed. Because I didn't know how to get closer to Him, He sent a christian friend to my house who invited me at a christian meeting. I went there and learned about starting your relationship with God by being born again. This is the first step when you acknowledge and accept Jesus Christ in your life as your Lord Lord and Savior. After the prayer to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit will come and dwell with you and that is the best part about being in a relationship with God, it's no longer by your own strength that you change but by the power of The Holy Spirit living in you; all you have to do is to develop a fellowship with The Holy Spirit you can ask Him to reveal Himself to you, and you will realize that He really lives inside of you and know you the best. Since the day I started to have a daily fellowship with Him just by talking to Him about EVERYTHING going on in my life and my mind( my emotions, my struggles, insecurities, past failures still affecting me) I have seen Him move in every aspects of my life. The other part is that while I was busy beating myself down because of my past mistakes, The Holy Spirit NEVER condemns me but instead reassure me of his unfailing love, now I live in confidence that whatever comes my way He has my back and that even if I do make mistakes He will help me to learn the lesson and move on. It has been six years that I have started walking with Him, I was at first doubtful because I couldn't see Him but as He was opening door after door in my life I realize that it is not a joke and that He listens to me and He found a way to talk to me too so now I can hear Him. Just don't give up, if you have not yet made the prayer to surrender your life to Jesus Christ my advice is that you can start with that and leave the rest in the hands of God to guide you. I hope that it will help you. Stay blessed in the Lord.

I can relate, my marriage eneded within 4 mths, and don't regret being a Christian

When my marriage ended I couldn't understand.. I suffered many things so God moved him out of my life after praying for him to move all hindrance out my life including him. God showed me how he tried to stop me but I chose to go forward to marry. Since then God has healed me made me wiser. Now I choose to wait on God and enjoy my life hidden in Christ dedicated to serving him. Now the mess that I made of my life is now a testimony. Hold on to God and seek his kingdom and his righteousness and he will add everything you need.
