Leaving the Bay of Fires, we start to head inland where one of our camping spots is Myrtle Park Campground which is possibly the best campground that we have camped in during our time here in Tasmania. Meeting up with fellow Traveller Caravan owners, we use this location as a base to venture out on day trips as we continue to explore what Tasmania have to offer. We visit one of Tasmania’s tallest waterfalls.

Love these videos, thanks so much. Your videos allow someone with age and health restrictions to see this beautiful place that I would not be able travel to. Thanks again for the time and effort.

We create our videos so that we show the location more so than what we in particular are doing, sounds like we are on the right track with them. For us it is all about sharing the destination and not us.

🙃 OMG...sounds of water rushing down that creek.....excuse me for a few minutes please...OK am back. Thank you ! Somehow I thought the world was rushing by my life. But by heck, you pair of super beaut people have enlightened me enough to gather my thoughts and attempt to inspire some movement in my stagnant lifestyle. Please Sally & Mick, do give me time to knock away them ole cobwebs and locate the correct gear to move towards your tracks...Cheers !

It's a great challenge to stay off grid for such a period, especially as far south in Tasmania. I enjoy your fact based commentary.

Solar input is certainly reduced down south. Glad you are enjoying the video.

I was hoping that you would visit the trees, fascinating aren't they!! Our bus driver, being a Tasmanian took us via them on our way to the east coast & although it was late February, it was cold, damp & misty. Tasmania has been in drought over the past few months but rain is coming... There are more of the trees in other areas. When I was over there we saw the guy cutting some figures in one of the towns because the trees had become dangerous. Also you need to see Sheffield with all the muriels on the walls, it was an incredible place. That makes for a good cheap holiday when you can go off grid & also find places with either no costs involved or minimal costs. There is so much to see & do if one has the time & the money. Also on the main highway between Launceston & Devonport there was a fantastic cafe selling sheep milk in their coffee etc & boy was it yummy!!! There is a lot to see & do in Launceston.

It would be great to be able to see the trees being shaped, great way of saving them and keeping the history alive. We now have been to Sheffield and looked at the many murals there, just fantastic.👍

@@justcruisinwithmicksally837 I have just heard that the aurora was showing in the early hours of this morning so are you catching any of it this evening. From the photos I saw online it was fantastic & red is rarely seen, so I hope that you have been able to view it as it is something most people never seen in their lifetime & so something that the two of you will never forget!!!

Glad you enjoyed it, the time has gone so fast for us while here. We are leaving on the boat tonight to sail back to Geelong. This was going to be our one and only trip to Tasmania but since being here we are thinking that another trip during September/November would be good as well.

Thank you. We have two 100AH Lithium batteries and 560 watts of solar on the roof. If we need extra solar input, we have a 200 watt blanket but have not had the need to use it here so fr.
