I don't give a damn on what anyone says, but the 80's and 90's were the best ever for music. There was so many creative artists, that not only had good music, but focals. Some songs had meaning, some had feeling, some made you dance "without a need of a drug", some were for love, some for lose and sooooo on. Nowadays in 2019, you get people making BIG money from basically talking, but have a good sound, that to me is not a song. You need a song you can think about and or relate to from ex's gone by, to a marriage, to moving, to your first love. Now a days music might have 1 out of 700, that has this. Shows how, crap can earn you money but the good has now passed.

Your previous generation would've said the same thing. Must go see the comments section of Tony Ben, Dean Martin or Frank Sinatra 😂

Add the 70s to the 80s and 90s. Some epic music/bands from the'70s which changed music for the better. Since early 00s it's gone downhill IMHO.

If your going to have one hit that defines you it may as well be something like this incredible gem from Tasmin Archer. Going into 30 years and it still sounds and feels special. The early '90s was an amazing time in music.

This lady singer not just pinned a hit song in the toppest song billboards worldwide also o pinned into our hearts the consciousness of looking forward to seek the way to redemption and togetherness for the wellness of mankind instead of looking the answers outside in a celestial object such the Moon. The answers we have them before us since beginning of times just we don't like the words held and we've looking for what we only want to hear in outer space. G.

You know thousands of songs are written and released every year but the number of those songs that have a special genius quality in the way they have been written and you can hear and feel in your very soul is imo 1% ... 1% of all the songs produced in the last 100years are that amazing and this is one of them, some songs have and should always be timeless a thing of beauty. The period from the 60s - 90s was the peak of music and has produced the best music that will ever be heard. You can argue some good songs are made with crap from ed Sheeran as ppl seem to love home and today's music but it's not even fit to be mentioned in the same breathe as the music from the 60s -90s that percent of songs from that 30year period contain just pure magic

I love the layers of snare accents in the drumwork. It starts off with a very subtle beat (probably using brush sticks and ghost notes) and each verse introduces more crisp snare and it let's the song ride a wave of tension. Awesome production too.

I remember buying a cassette album of the hits of the 90's back then as a young adult. This was not one of the headliners but I fell in love with it and it had haunted me for days. I don't remember seeing any music video then as access to MTV around that time was scarce to me. I would imagine a lot of inter-galactic and cosmic phenomena just listening to this song. Darn, this song sent my imagination to the outskirts of the cosmos every time. Believe it or not, I am watching this now for the first time.

🎶🎵🎶 I blame you for the moonlit sky And the dream that died With the eagles' flights I blame you for the moonlit nights When I wonder why Are the seas still dry Don't blame this sleeping satellite Did we fly to the moon too soon? Did we squander the chance? In the rush of the race The reason we chase is lost in romance And still we try To justify the waste For a taste of man's greatest adventure I blame you for the moonlit sky And the dream that died With the eagles' flights I blame you for the moonlit nights When I wonder why Are the seas still dry Don't blame this sleeping satellite Have we got what it takes to advance? Have we peaked too soon? If the world is so great Then why does it scream under a blue moon? We wonder why If the earth's sacrificed For the price of its greatest treasure I blame you for the moonlit sky And the dream that died With the eagles' flights I blame you for the moonlit nights When I wonder why Are the seas still dry Don't blame this sleeping satellite And when we shoot for the stars What a giant step Have we got what it takes To carry the weight of this concept? Or pass it by Like a shot in the dark Miss the mark with a sense of adventure I blame you sleeping satellite I blame you for the moonlit sky And the dream that died With the eagles' flights I blame you for the moonlit nights When I wonder why Are the seas still dry Don't blame this sleeping satellite Don't blame this sleeping satellite Enjoy ♥️ What a song ♥️♥️♥️

NOTHING can top this superb underrated song, Tasmins awesome voice coupled with the totally dynamic organ solo. Todays pathtic songs where female singers have to ADD lots of OH OH OH OH's to every verse in the song and make it sound ludicrous, coupled with over processed studio effects LOADS of overdub, multitracking etc. Tasmin just SINGS she doesnt need all that rubbish to spoil her PURE vocals.................STILL LISTENING TO THIS IN 2020............ANYONE ELSE?
