I'm wondering if Zuma not resigning from the ANC is more of a masterstroke than anticipated. May have given the MK more "credibility" than EFF in the minds of voters still sympathetic to the ANC. This could be why we're seeing the EFF lose out so much now.

Watching the SA elections from very far away. I value the analysis that both of you provided in this video. It gave me greater insight into today's election results than I would otherwise have had. One quick question. You refer to a Darby ? Shoalts ? as a source of further polling analysis beyond the analysis. For an outsider like myself, this name has little meaning. Can you point me in his/her/their direction?

Tasneem has a way of sobering a person when she speaks. I like it. I agree that EFF might not have much leverage to drastically change policy and similarly MK leader didn't do much better when he was in charge. I think the difference will come in when/if ANC have to be held accountable. It would fair better for Parliament oversight when ANC have less numbers. Ideally that would be good for governance. Many commentators have said ANC rule has been let down by implementation of policy rather than the policy itself. So this will tell is if we really had good policy or we must now try for EFF policy. Also I believe the EFF does have long term vision to how we prosper, they mention having a more integrated African economy and building a trading block. And I think Malema is showing his intention by his international visits and we see Pan-Africanism resonating because EFF is found in other countries. I'm know I am biased because I vote EFF

Zuma already made videos yesterday saying anc must be removed from IEC due to abuse of powers. As we all know Zuma I can agree with you Mpofu that there might be a court after elections and I doubt that Zuma can step backwards from what he already raised

What it hate me most it iec they got all SA residents cellphone numbers in their database but they didn’t take any initiative to notify us the process of how will should vote if you out of yo province to me it was a important fact to send sms no all of us we know the procedure of iec at the end they get paid tru our tax money they should go extra mild😮 for more information anyway they still crow our taxi money with SARS we used to it even thoug it painful bt one day God wiill answer for our prayers n he will answer
