I had the misfortune of dealing with a Titan X Twins with this exact drone/aug combo in the event mode. He was a complete nightmare since half the mines stayed around when he was eventually killed. He somehow got like 2nd and I got 4th

I would understand if mines could be destroyed by shooting at them. It seems to me that developers should think better about such innovations, since the reputation of the game is already nowhere lower and it is not worth making the situation worse. The game is now too toxic towards players, if the developers do not start changing the situation in the near future and continue to do this, then I'm afraid the game will start having serious problems

Oh no, the developers did that on purpose. They know this combo just goes against any competitiveness and balance in the game, but they allow it anyways because they can still make some money out of the people that will see this and any other video showcasing the strategy and will rush to buy Ultra Containers to hopefully get the hull augment and start using it themselves. That's how they work: release something broken, make as much money out of it as we can, and once enough people start complaining about this and maybe even quit playing, then we nerf it. At this point I'm pretty sure all they're doing is part of a plan to cleanse the game from many Legend ranked tankers, especially those who already have close to or everything there is to get in there garages, because those typically won't be paying for anything else anymore and thus become of no profit to the game, whereas newcomers, especially those willing to spend real money in the game, are the real targets of most of their updates regarding access to turrets/hulls, augments, etc. We Legends are useless for their community because we're not potential customers anymore and so us leaving the game is not all that important for their business as long as new players keep flowing in, I do believe this is the case. What a shame, this game could have been a top 10 eSports game to play and yet here we are, having barely any substantial audience and 0 promotion at a large scale in terms of making this game something similar to FIFA or CoD...

For CTF flag defending I used this combo.. ARES with miner plus Saboteur and rico emp... I was so amazed how it defended we won that game like 2 - 0. Just a Scorpion was trying to get me, was pretty easy game, but you get bored after a while defending. I wonder how they will nerf it, I hope they don't but probably... Mammoth OD and jumping Hoppers... plus you can't have a hull status immunity..pros/cons to this... ps: I wish they nerfed Vulcan Pulsar... they are so annoying....I use AP Immunity plus vulcan protection and pray for luck... pps: Taspens I don't think striker protection is most used...well in CP mode use to see Rico, Hammer, Scorpion...or Rail.... and I have maxed out garages...now tanki is getting boring sometimes...just don't have those super rare augments....be cool if they have Trophy levels like you get to 500k, 1millillon, 2million....instead just 5 million points level....and I wonder when they will CONTRACTS...nothing yet...

You can also mine in the enemy base and your mines stay there after you die. The worst thing though is a mammoth od just mowing down all your hard work.

he is 10 ranks below me ? Yeah normal thing in tanki, You can be legend 50. so it means you can be like 60-70 ranks ahead of this poor players

I can't believe no one realized how broken this stupid combo is until now, but I guess barely anyone has the miner augment yet so no one could really notice its existence. I recently got Blaster for Hornet and it's also difficult to counter now that you can't deactivate its effect with Jammer like it used to be when it was a drone, and in my opinion these things needed to be nerfed even before their release because it was OBVIOUS they would be broken. But, of course, the developers know how broken something is and release it as is on purpose so that players pay to get Ultra Containers in the hopes of getting the p2w augments that clearly disrupt the game's balance. We're part of the cancer this game suffers from after all... Also, am I the only one in favor of banning things like Pulsar augments, these once-a-drone hull augments, Tesla, Hopper, Paladin, Trickster and Crisis from Matchmaking? Wouldn't that be a good opportunity to revive the private battle system that's been dead for years by allowing those things only there?

You are not showing us the statistics at the end of the batttle. We are not playing with those combos. So it is irrelevant to whether you had fund or not.

This is extremely horrible for gameplay. Just literally promotes a camper style. It is so unfun to try and cap a flag even when you have mine prot. No wonder people leave this game. It is just horrible experience. I'd prefer someone to defend the flag by actually fighting me instead of just camping behind cover with a wall of mines around their base that never goes away.
