Discover the Ultimate Food Guide to Mexico City in 2023 with our two-week food adventure! As one of the world's biggest cities with close to 22 million people, it's no surprise that Mexico City is considered one of the food capitals of the world. Our video takes you on a culinary journey to some of the best restaurants, taquerias, and street food stands in Mexico City, including hidden gems that you won't find in other KZfaq videos.
If you're a taco lover, you'll find nothing but the best in Mexico City, particularly the world-renowned Tacos al Pastor. In the video, we showcase some of the top places specializing in this delicacy, with our favorite being El Vilsito, a taqueria that turns into an auto body shop by day.
Our list of the top five taquerias and street food stands in Mexico City includes El Pescadito, Jenni's Street Quesadillas, Los Cocuyos, Taqueria El Torito, and La Esquina Del Chilaquil. For sit-down meals, we highly recommend Nico's, Contramar, Choza, Rosetta, and Lardo. These restaurants offer great food, perfect ambiance, and are even baby-friendly, as we experienced during our trip.
Besides food, our video takes you on a tour of Xochimilco to ride the trajineras and explore the ancient canals with some friends. If you're looking for a place to stay, Condesa or Roma Norte is the perfect place for you, filled with tree-lined streets and a wide variety of food stalls, coffee shops, and restaurants.
Follow our Instagram page for more information on food destinations worldwide, including our highlight stories from Mexico City, featuring tags of all the places we visited. Don't forget to like and subscribe for more travel food guides.

Thank for displaying what Mexico City has to offer when it comes to food. A lot of the bloggers only go to small shops or boutique like restaurants that do not make justice for the real food. Those places typically offer a variety that’s more appealing to white Americans or Europeans.

I think seeing so much delicious food made me hungry. I like that they have captured the essence of us Mexicans so that people in other countries know that they can visit us whenever they want, Mexico is a huge country but there's good infrastructure to travel in all directions and it isn't expensive. regards Czech-Mexican 🇲🇽🇨🇿

I will be in Mexico City in April as well. A tip is to take the cable cars over Mexico City. There are 3 with the longest 14 KM. I had thought of a hot air balloon ride but this is even better and cost only about $2. Try the electric assist peddle taxis. Half the cost and gets you places much faster. Lots of great museums. Want nice cheap hotels try places like Doctores'. Tram runs to Distric Historica for 5 peson. And in my case the bus is free. Though buses can get crowded. On most public transit there are women only areas.

See, this is how all travel bloggers should make their videos. Limited voice narrating, the important stuff mentioned in the subtitles, and footage that never lingers and gets straight to the point. Beautifully done, guys!

Thank you so much for appreciating the style of my videos! I just want to pack as much value as possible into the videos and create a sort of visual guide for people to reference. It’s very different than a food “blog” style video but I think it’s more valuable because I’m able to provide a lot more recommendations this way and even show you what I got at each spot! Thanks for watching!

Thank you so much for that feedback! My goal is to provide as much value in a short period of time (as short as possible at least) instead of doing a vlog style video, which I feel is its own thing. I just have zero interest in putting on a mic and talking about my food while I’m eating 😂 especially while traveling with my family/2 children. This is what’s doable for me at the moment so I’m glad it’s resonating! Please give me a subscribe and I’ll be posting more videos soon! 🙌🫶

Also near the Old Church on Maderia I met an old women with both legs amputated at the hip and her left arm amputated at the shoulder. Yet she was out on an electric skateboard selling embroidered masks and leather and bead jewelry. f I can locate her again, I have 50,000 Pesos so she can have a better mobility device. This is a curated list of my top recommendations after hours and hours of research, talking with locals including some of the best chefs in the city, and my own experience eating 3 meals a day out in the city over the course of 15 days. I feel like it’s a waste to record myself (or watch others) eating the food and saying it tastes good. Instead I tell you where to go and what to order and that is my “review” of the food. I packed a ton of recommendations into one video this way instead of making you watch me eat every dish and say “mmm this is so f****** good” like I would’ve after every bite. 😂

@@dankeats Everyone who knows beer knows clear bottles will skunk the hops. And that gives the taste of a dirty sock. No they won't laugh in your face but rampant they say how Americans are suckers for Corona. Mexican export most as they won't drink it. Mexico has some very good beers though. I have lived in Panama, Ecuador, Nicaragua and Costa Rica nearly 14 years with 1 month or longer trips to Mexico twice a year. Of all places Costa Rica is most friendly and polite. But all false. Mexico the friendly and polite is genuine. By the way I craft brewed beer for over 50 years. And brewed beer in the US 30 years ago and offered $200 a gallon. Never sold it as that would have been illegal, plus even giving people beer they never returned my 1 liter flippy top bottles. Heck I ever made Beer in Saudi Arabia Alcoholic as well as brewed wine. Resorting to the use of bread years as any other was unobtainable.

@@dankeats Good choices. Likely you would spit our Corona if you tried it. But advise against it. Green glass works too but bot as good as brown. And best of all is draft in a barrel. But seldom seen as the taps, valves and setup costs too much and the beer should be used within 10 days. So such as an Irish or British Pub in Mexico City is the best bet for finding that.

Yes, it’s commonly made with goat or lamb but people can make it with whatever they want. 2) that was salsa verde on the pastor, but again, totally up to the person what they put on their tacos. 3) Mexican food is far more than tacos, you’re an asshole if you think otherwise. 4) learn to read faster. 5) thanks for all the engagement, I Appreciate it, amigo!
