ever since I started watching you, videos of these debates on Islam came on my recommendation, so I started to watch them and it makes me sad to see that the BBC and other television shows have these debates where the person who is on the side of Islam really doesn't know what they're talking about, I just wish you were on one of these shows so people would really understand that Islam is a religion of peace

Subhana'Allah I didn't know that inhaling musk can break the fast jazak Allahu khairan for this. I usually put musk on a place in my prayer mat so that it smells good when I'm in my sujood .. do I have to redo my fast since the beginning of Ramadan or am I forgiven for not knowing the ruling on this matter?

I wore perfume and I'm fasting is my fast broken I'm so scared

No, it's not broken, if I remember it correctly, but however, it's sinful, whether you're fasting or not. Perfuming oneself is for your husband alone, whether during fasting or not, it doesn't matter. But all sins are heavier during the month of ramadan, so sinning is more severe during this month. But it does not invalidate the fasting. If someone can prove otherwise, let it be known, because I'm speaking from memory on this one.

Might sound stupid but what about swallowing your saliva?? yes or no. my father spits out his saliva. is swallowing saliva permissible

YES I'VE ASKED A COUPLE OF PEOPLE AND THEY HAVE SAID YES SINCE IT'S JUST NATURAL SALIVA HOWEVER ... YOU CAN'T GATHER YOUR SPIT INTENTIONALLY AND SWALLOW IT someone please correct me if i'm wrong

+Zainab Coulibaly +SAARAH No, swallowing saliva does not break your fast. Whether you gather your saliva and swallow it intentionally or not, this both does *not* break the fast.

Praise be to Allaah. If a fasting person swallows his saliva that does not invalidate his fast even if there is a lot of it and if that happens in the mosque or elsewhere. However if it is thick like mucus, he should not swallow it, rather he should spit it out into a tissue or whatever if he is in the mosque. And Allaah is the Source of strength. May Allah send blessings and peace upon of Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions. Al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah li’l-Buhooth wa’l-Ifta, 1-/270. If it is asked, is it permissible to swallow mucus deliberately? The answer is: It is haraam to swallow mucus whether one is fasting or not, because it is considered to be dirty and it may carry diseases produced by the body. But it does not break the fast if a fasting person swallows it, because it does not come from blood and swallowing it is not regarded as food or drink. If he swallows it after it reaches the mouth, it does not break the fast. From the words of Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Uthaymeen, may Allaah have mercy on him. See al-Sharh al-Mumti’, 6/428. Islam Q&A
