Ironically it was Henry's sperm that was the problem, probably due to all the inbreeding that went on at the time within a relatively small group of nobility. They didn't know about DNA and regressive genes back then. Of course Henry could never accept that he might be the problem even after having the same problems over and over again with different women. No, it had to be his wive's fault.

Well, how very unprofessional of the executioner... Those mistakes really occured every now and then, though. The cut has to be extremely forced and firm to be efficient. Once upon the scaffold, there is no room for hesitation or weakness. Therefore came the guillotine to be considered as a safe and secure tool, because its Sharp blade wouldn´t miss...

Nonsense. Cutting the oxygen supply to the brain shuts it down within seconds. After about 2-3 minutes the brain takes irreversible damage. After about 5 minutes the brain is finished.
