Actually Tata ka suspension and handling bht underrated hai...my daily driver is skoda fabia ...i drove tiago for 300 km gurgaon to dehradun and I realised how good the suspension is ..I think it's class leading ....glad you point it out gagan

I hv driven both i20 and altroz diesel but for me altroz is just excellent in ride quality handling and feel from inside. Even the sound quality and instrument cluster is just next level... Better to choose altroz.

When altroz was launched I didn't liked its design but after seeing it's road presence in real life and its features really it's a good package

One thing what I like about Gagan's review is that he is a keen observer of things;He points out things where manufacturers try to squeeze in cost or dont provide the best finishing. In this case it was the wipers popping out on the window. In thar video it was the uneven gaps in the bonnet. These small things are a good indicatos of how much thought and efforts h manufacturers have put in.

Tata's new lineup is very interesting. Harrier, tiago, tigor, altroz... All five star rated in crash test thats itself its USP

I have Altroz XT(P)...for past 1 month...1000+km I would talk only about the cons....since there is too much pros to talk about Con 1 :- Seriously underpowered... I simply ignored the mileage point of view when purchasing...First priority was safety... Other priorities were looks, features and last performace (since it's my first car... Didn't want to much power 😂) But compared many other cars online.... Nearly every other cars were of same ranging value... So thought I'd decent... But being way heavier than other cars... It's seriously underpowered... You can't just overtake any other truck or bus without having a proper rpm under your belt... After 2000 rpm the car pulls decently... Of course with a race car type of noise.... Like the engine is running for its life....but yeah you'll always have to be cautious while overtaking....Rest assured you can achieve the speed with a lag of course and its ride is awesome.... Con 2:- AC fan noise is too much.... It should have been a bit quieter.... We were already suffering with that 3 cylinder noise... To suppress it always go with a good music... With its best in class music system 👍🏻 Con 3 :- Infotainment system.... The screen simply freezes while on android auto... On a trip it froze two times....had to pull over and restart everything from beginning... (For those who don't know) Also the android auto doesn't support every app...so don't panic.... Though it should support wink music 🙄 Con 3 :- There is no engine cover.... The engine bay looks naked... But I think.... They are offering engine cover to every customer in the servicing....🤞 Con 4 :- The tires are low profile.... They provide you better comfort and quality I think on the highways... But beware.... Drive slow on rough terrain.... Which is almost every road in India 😂... Con 5 (Not Exactly) :- The service centre issue is nightmare for me.... Though I've not visited one till.... But every reviewer is talking of this with a pinch of salt.... That their experience was bitter.... Hoping I get an escape with that 🤞 That's it for now.... Will add to it as my experience improves 😅 Aur Pros bhai pros h....itna pta rhta ki kami h ye sb....fir v leta....so don't think ki it's a bad decision... I will say last thing....agar jyada mje v lene h....toh diesel le lo filhaal....₹40k off v kiye h sayad av TATA ne....so go with that one....or wait for the turbo one...Maine diesel nhi liya....kyuki price matters...kaafi mehengi thi😂

Tata should come with proper sedan with front shape and looks inspired that of altroz

The Altroz is great but with a little more work by Tata it can be an excellent car! Led projector headlamps, auto dimming IRVM, Cup holders for rear armrest and a shark fin antenna would have made the car complete on the design front.

I've seen a multiple reviews of Altroz and commenting here based on that only: 1) Petrol Engine is not as Refined compared to others and its not a good Powertrain for Enthusiasts. 2) Talking about its 1.5L Diesel, we can compare to Mr. Ciaz Diesel (Sedan vs Hatchback) which has a better figures but its BS4 so no more discussions about it. But comparatively its mileage is way more less than Mr. Ciaz though Altroz is BS6 and Ciaz is BS4 . 3) (Edit) Ford FREESTYLE is the perfect competitor for Altroz to compare most of the figures and Altroz is 90Kg heavier. But has more mileage than ford. Power and Torque both are less in Tata. So its a detune to get more mileage. 4) As you said in the video about ROAD NOISE and it has a strong body. It simply means that the Insulation should have been better. 5) @GaganChoudhary I think you forgot to mention its High Speed Stability. Well the HSS is too good in Altroz. On high speeds the car sticks to the road which gives more confidence to drive it. I don't have more comments on Altroz as you've driven it and I'm just talking after seeing a couple of videos.

In the video, there is a mention of lag. The car does not react if accelerator pedal is pressed and released very quickly within half a second. Is there any comparison with other cars available? How does a Baleno or i20 react when you pressed accelerator pedal and immediately released like you did in Altroz?
