I am eagerly waiting for Tata Curvv to upgrade from my 9 year old Tata Zest. By the time it launches my car will turn 10 years old. And unlike popular opinion I have a fantastic experience with my current Tata car. Almost driven 1 lakh kms and it still looks new. And also never faced any bad experience in service. So my next car will also be from the house of Tata.😊

Seems like it's a great time to buy tata motors stock. Besides bs6 phase2 petrol engines has relatively less noise and smoothness enhanced than phase1. Hope things improvise further.

If you solely go by this, you will end up buying trash cans of Suzuki. 'Roads' in a broader perspective was what I meant. I suppose you have read between the lines and come to an conclusion. Despite the so called lacklustre after sales service, people still buy Tata vehicles. Then something must be changing, albeit slowly. (By the way, that's another topic for research) It is up to the potential buyer to consider Tata given the performance of surrounding service centers.

Rightly pointed out by you so many problems in paint and fit n finish of tata cars....that's why cancelled my nexon ev 2.o booking and get refund of 2 lakh from dealer....all 4 cars which deler showed me were defective in some manner

I will buy Tata Curvv only if it is launched with 4 cylinder 1.5 L tgdi engine .I do not like 3 cylinder engines as it makes noise in addition to less power output

I am not a fan of touch controls. I think manufacturer should think about the safety of driver and not put touch controls for ac and music systems atleast. It distracts the atention of driver from road. Gov should mendate physical butons for instrument console atleast.

It is only the half truth!... You can experience such rude behaviour in the service centres of other companies as well... People are inclined on criticising Tata cars.Have you any experience of Maruti cars?...They incur dents on their body on trivial rubs or collisions!If Maruti cars give better mileage,it is due to their poor build quality and paper thin steel sheets it uses on its cars (ie,lower body weight)... Safety of Tatas and mileage as good as Maruti cars is not possible.Newer models of Tata cars are now aesthetically attractive also.

Other than the EV variant if Tata motors bring Sierra with correct proportions (4275mm length × 1830mm width × 1630mm height × 230mm ground clearance × 2650mm wheelbase and wide tracks to the very edge of the body) it would be excellent in looks. Unnecessary height and low width ruins the looks of vehicles. It should be wide and look like a real boxy SUV (actually not a real SUV without ladder frame chassis and 4 wheel drive hardware) These are my suggestions for proper looks. The IC engines should be 1.5 L turbo petrol or a 2.0 L turbo petrol in collaboration with Japanese any Japanese top manufacturers. Diesel should be the updated and more powerful and durable version of the current 1.5 L CRDI or the Fiat sourced 2.0 L multijet.

Curve will compete with sedan like salvia, virtos, city, verna.. Curve not competing with seltos, creta, vitara, elevate because curve is sedan/coupe..And nobody buying sedan.. Only1 car in top 25 selling cars in India...

Sir u only said that no car can survive a speed impact of 100km/h....so i feel this 5 star NCAP rating USP of tata is way overhyped (as most drivers feel now that they have a tata...they can drive carelessly and still be ok in cases of accidents) trying to mask the glaring fundamental issues of their cars which some of u mentioned but forgot to put out that tata is putting out too many untested tech out too fast.

I’m huge fan of your opinions and reviews. But In my personal opinion, Curvv won’t be a game changer but just the dowry/marriage car which lacks car sales during non-wedding season. Electric cars are flop idea pushed by government and will remain flop
