costly petrol k time me petrol dca car lena practical nhi rha, jb petrol delhi me 100r.s + per litre ho gya hai toh petrol car ki running cost increase jo jaegi aur ownership bhi costly hogi dca petrol car ki agar kbhi koi problem aa gyi dca automatic car me , aur repair bhi costly hoga iska tata motor should launch automatic in diesel engines for diesel car buyers like me

It makes sense. Lots of people saying that they should have offered Turbo engine with DCA. But how many people actually wants performance oriented car for their daily use... Most people buys automatic for comfort and ease of driving. Performance is the last thing most people wants.

I still don't understand which race people wanna win in traffic...i can hardly go above 40 in city speed limit is 60 in Bengaluru..yup balanced power is much needed then outright bhp and speed

TATA has turn the tables with this DCA. Everyone were bit spectical about the DCA being offered with 1.2 NA .But after the test drive all doubts are cleared and everyone seems to be happy with the driveability. TATA has done the DCA synchronization in such a way that you don't feel lethargic. Well done TATA.

We know safety is good. just let me know about Pickup and engine noise. Service- i m worried because for normal Tata cars people will complian. I m not sure tata service center people can handle such complex mechanism of DCA. Planning to buy this DCA model. but only thing is Tata cars long run mein dhoka deta hai. Already experienced with zest and tiago NRG.

@@bhanusharma9768 no i am not! Anyway i don't like tata. They make stupid unrefined engines which are nowhere close to germans or japanese engines. A car is not all about safety and body shell integrity the most important part of a car i.e. engine needs to be good. I like mahindra better as they can make world class engines and transmission themselves whereas tata just buys them from some other foreign brand.

Before buying DCA altroz, buyers must make sure that their nearest service centres have atleast a decent review, otherwise....

Wonderful review. I felt the same and highway stability is awesome. DCA here is wet clutch and hence there is need for oil change at some specific frequency. I have asked the owner's manual seems the online one is not updated and its last year version and couldnt find any kind of relevant video about this particular gearbox of Tata for repair. Any idea at what frequency this transmission oil change has to be done and I have high doubt about the expertise of the Tata's service technicians to handle these complicated things without any hassle.

Altroz is targeted for those customers who prefer safety over features and it has done well in the market. Ofcourse Baleno/Glanza and I20 are selling more because as you said correctly people want features over safety. Also in terms of features Altroz is not bad at all, it gives you most of the features like Cruise control, Automatic AC, Automatic Headlamps, Automatic Vipers, Rear AC and arm rest, Auto cornering stability, great boot space, awesome key functions (lock, unlock, boot open and follow-me lights), Harman Music system with 4 speakers and 4 tweeters (Awesome sound quality). I dont think i need anything else in a 5-star rated car as I believe life is much more important than 1 additional cylinder in the engine. :-)

Much detailed review covering driving experience as per everydayl driving conditions of city/highway..altroz DCA does the work pretty well, from video it seems there is little to complain except engine high nvh due to 3 cylinder which i feel also in my Tiago. But still engine power is good for me 🙂

Altroz is heavier than Tiago and also has balancers in engine so there is much more lag in starting in altroz as compared to tata

higher RPM पे आवाज ज्यादा करती है, सही बात है, पर कौन है वे लोग जो 5000-6000 rpm तक गाड़ी ले जाते हैं..ज्यादातर लोग 3000 आरपीएम तक गियर चेंज कर देते हैं...एक नार्मल तरीके से गाड़ी चलाने वालों के लिए 1no. गाड़ी है...एक शानदार लुक, और DCA गियरबॉक्स के साथ ये एक बेस्ट प्रीमियम हैचबैक बन जाती है.. I recently learnt that TATA goes with 3 cylinder engines because of their light weight nature compared to the 4 cylinders. The tata body shell is already very heavy so adding the heavier 4 cylinder engine will reduce the mileage of their cars significantly. So the choice is yours, whether you want to buy a safer car or better equiped NA engine.

Perfect Review. This car delivers what its meant for .. smooth gearbox for city and able to cruise on highway. Perfect for families. Honda Amaze is apt competitor in 10L segment which is also 4* car. Baleno 2022 build quality has improved a lot with improved AMT, and tons of features. Somehow Altroz missed opportunity and should have added more bells and whistles to the car right from base variant. Aam janata wants features, you simply cant attract buyers just on 5* and DCA. Yeh hawa social media pr hi rah jati hai, doesnt transalate into actual sales.

I dont expect a strong car from suzuki in india At max 4 star And airbags don't make car strong if it structure is weak

Amaze is not good for rear passenger. No adjustable headrests after paying more than 10L.
