Very good explanation bro, with respect to issues in turbo engines, diesel turbo engines do not have any issues then how would petrol turbo create multiple issues or the issues that you are referring to is pertaining only to 3cyl turbo engines and not to 4cyl turbo engines, please explain bro...

Great, keep up the good work sir. You inputs on 3 vs 4 cylinders are very informative. I have just one question on diesel engine. Is it advisable to go for 4 cylinder diesel Tata Nexon if the daily usage is very less (May be I'll take vehicle only one or two times a week)? If yes, would there be issue related to pump, injectors and engine after 2 or 3 years due to less usage? Initially, I was planning to go for a Mini SUV (Sub 4 meter) Petrol NA 4 cylinder Engine but because of built quality I have no option other than Nexon facelift Diesel at the moment. But worried about the above said issues due to less usage. Your inputs will be very helpful. Thanks much and I really appreciate your efforts. 👌👌👌👏👏👏

What you said about 3 cylinder engine is true, I own Nexon petrol variant. To overtake I need to calculate more than the normal car, if you want to enjoy the driving then it's not for you. I drive in constant speed with steady acceleration so I don't feel this issue.

Most people don't know about three or four cylinder engines at all . What counts is the capacity of the engine ! 1200 or 1500 cc etc., it is the design of the engine that matters to deliver the torque and bhp , irrespective of 3 or 4 cylinders. It doesn't mean a 5 cylinder engine will be better for the same cc. Regarding safety test , ok if tested at 64 km per hour , the average car speed in India, but if a car ( Maruti) fails at even at that speed what is your pick.? Go for safe car. Yes , mileage matters but not at the cost of your safety. Then try to prefer and Go for Desi car , Tata ( or Mahindra) unless there are specific points like Skoda for safety .
