Yes, initial pickup is less upto 2nd gear. Thereafter adequate power is there. Agreed within the city I too feel vehicle could have moved faster. But in highways it's different story

Tata motors promised price protection for customers who have booked on or before 18th jan 2022. I have booked car on 7th janb2022, But dealer in bangalore kht motors denied offer, regarding this I have talked to director sale, Tata motor , also told same thing, this kind of unethical businesses will never last, God is there. Don't but tata cars..like me many customers are suffering.

See brother, simple logic. If sidewall thickness is more, ride quality will be more comfortable. If thickness is less, it is more performance oriented and grip will be better.

@@Sri-uw1jh it's just cant be said just a 4 cyl, it depends on your other requirements like body type, size, family requirements, any brand preference etc., If you want a decent 4 cyl - go for Santro, Ignis, WagonR 1.2, Swift, Grand i10 Nios - if you like premium segments and can extend your budget little more, can opt for Elite i20, Baleno, Honda Jazz and on SUV at 10L budget Nexon (best buy). Finally after all it's your budget and requirements that's decides it all. Hope this helps!...

@@Sri-uw1jh but still you have alternatives for that price range, sturdiness is not the only qualifications is expected. I know the 3 cyl performance on road, especially if you driven it and is not worthy for a mini SUV. And inorder to pull that sturdiness the engine needs that power... Else a 3 cyl turbo should do that, again a NA 3 cyl engine is not worthy for this range, this is my view.

@@yugenfreddy6726 I think it's the tuning. Ford had three cylinder NA that were quite adequate to get the job done. With regards to this vehicle, I guess Tata aimed for better mileage as one of the factor in its engine choice. I have driven both options, and personally I feel for any 5+lakh four wheeler basic features, build quality standard are mandatory like in any German and US vehicles. Otherwise..with the given specs in recent tata vehicles...it's good beginning for market disruption and healthy competition.
