This car is not good in terms of initial pickup...and another big minus in tata cars is they dump every feature in top end model only...even second top end model will not have the features actually they should have for the price they fix. They trigger people to choose only top end model so they can achieve more profit but that's wrong.

Punch is ticking all the boxes except 3 cylinder engine configuration. While starting the engine both steering and gear lever will vibrate. In high rpm as well it will vibrate.if they release 1.2L Turbo in punch. It will cannibalize the nexon sales. If you plan to go top model. You can also prefer below model with similar prizes. 1. Hyundai venue s plus 2. Maruti Vitra breeza vxi 3. Honda jazz vx or zx 4. Nissan magnite xv Turbo 5. Renault kiger Rxt turbo

I am vivek and I will try to help you with an answer. If yiu want more features at less cost - ignis If you want smooth refined engine with excellent pick up - ignis If yiu want great mileage near 20 - ignis. If you have money and build quality, ride comfort , SUV looks,are your main focus - punch

Hi bro.. I am new driver and completed my driving course 3 months before after that no hands-on. So to revive my driving I am planning to purchase a new car. Initially thought of buying a small hatchback then changed my mind to get a Sub4mSUV based on your suggestion as you advised any new driver can drive and practice any car. Now my biggest confusion is to choose which car. After so many analysis I finally chosen 3 as these 3 only fits my budget (less than 10L) as well as to accommodate my elder parents 1. Tata Punch 2. Hyundai Venue 3. Mahindra XUV300 Kindly suggest me among these 3 or if you feel others pls suggest. Thanks bro

Check i10 nios amt and aura amt...its very smooth under same budget u get very silent nice pickup 4cylinder engine, u get more features and in amt gear change is really good. Take test drive and decide sir. And another benefit is nios and aura u will get the car within 1month but punch u should wait for 3 to 4 months.

In Tata punch AMT traction control also available.. In other similar price range cars that option is not available. So tata punch AMT is better than other similar priced cars.

Very slow car, 0-100 in 17 seconds is unacceptable. Even Wagonr k12 takes only 12 seconds. Also this is not an off-road vehicle by any means. It's just a safe city car with probably the worst engine in its segment. Petrol Nexon, Brezza are much better
