C3 is for enthusiasts while punch is for normal people will be a great conclusion

GNCAP would have had needed a longer track while testing Tata Punch to make it reach 64km/h before it hit the box

After seeing tata cars recent days, I think tata should work more on engine refinement, clutch and gear box. In other aspect Tata just shines.

Citroen c3 has done its basics right, unfortunately tata don't. One can live with lackluster features( as it can be added later on ) but not with pathetic engine.

Cost cutting in Citroën reminds me of older generation cars 😍

Test drove the C3 a month back and I should say for me it's the car of choice among these two. The biggest con was the glaring absence of power ORVMs. The biggest pro was the fantastic suspension setup that simply soaks up cracks on the roads which Faisal didn't go much into. Really considering it as a second car city runabout that fits in anywhere.

But Citroen never says C3 as an SUV. They say it's a hatchback 🤷🏻‍♂️

Citreon C3 : 1.2 L Turbocharged 110 PS Power Petrol engine , 6 Speed Manual Gearbox, 190 NM Torque, class leading suspension setup. What else you expect from an under 10L OnRoad Car.

When you buy a car, you look for good value the money can buy you at the price for you and your family. An average guy doesn't go on checking how quick they reach 100 kmph while commuting in the city or going on a weekend ride with family and friends. Good safety, better headrests, automatic wipers & headlights, bigger glovebox, center armrest at rear will always make a happier owner than an engine which drives to 100 kmph a couple of seconds quicker. Plus if something goes wrong, we get Tata spare parts at almost every corner of the country.

I just checked the community post and the video was out but seriously the comparison was mindblowing🤯

I own punch manuval.The engine is laggy sometimes but not that much bad, high speed stability is good..Only drawback is it takes just more time to pull in hill area

C3 might be a good product when compare to punch in terms of engine but in Indian market you need to have features too c3 in terms of feature feels like 2015 model so try to get an update with few feature which are common in 2022

C3 needs to update itself as a premium hatchback like i20 Asta. We don't want to go back to Santro Xing in today's times. Even if cost rises they should provide all necessary features. Features like automatic IRVM, defrogger, reverse parking camera with dynamic guidelines, dash cam in front, driver side armrest, adjustable headrests for all, armrest on rear seat, heated and adjustable plus autofolding orvms we should get. Don't have an idea about throw of light in C3. Does that has projector headlamp setup with cornering stuff ? Is bodyshell of C3 strong enough to last 15 years ? Many cars start rusting after reaching 10 years. We don't literally need cheap cars anynore. People can purchase a good vehicle in 2nd hand car market if companies give good cars to the first owner.

I have c3 non turbo...i driven 3k kms and I'm getting mileage of 21-25km/hr in highways and 19-21km/hr in city... Good for price

So in short, Seems like C3 has better engine, driving, reliability than Punch. Citroen is also a safer car brand according to past NCAP ratings. Citroen C3 > Tata Punch if the 2 lakh cost cutting is not done I guess?

Purchased c3 non turbo variant last month ❤ amazing car

I have altroz manual with 1.2, i drive both altroz and punch manual, there is a significant difference in pick up of both cars, at 2000rpm altroz is faster and engaging, while punch although it pulls better at slow speed on bad roads, it is slower than altroz and lacks the midrange of altroz. And note that my car is ECU updated twice from service, feels good to drive....

No disrespect to Tata punch but Citroen c3 is much better car and looks decent , Tata punch should have Diesel engine

Based on the Pricing of the C3, I don't feel it should compete with the Punch. I better if we compare it with the Tiago, Ignis or the Celerio and the WagonR. Just my thoughts....

The model of punch you are comparing with c3 is 2 lacs more costly consider that also and c3 has a lot better engine. May be in future Citroen will bring more features with little more price hike

seriously, this video is meant for the promotion of Punch. Tata Punch has a high amount of drag while you won't find any such issue in C3. Steering Control of tata punch is much more hard in comparison of C3 Music system of Punch won't give refined sound when the base is high while in C3 it's awesome. in Punch, three persons (70 Kg each) can't sit properly while on C3 due to better cabin design you can even accommodate a 5 yrs. old kid too. Cons of C3 : 1. no electronic ORVMs 2. No automatic climate control. 3. No Push Start button. 4. no rear wiper and defogger.

Except engine.... Punch is way way ahead of c3... That's why Tata is capturing market rapidly bcoz they produce more practical cars

Citroën c3 even surpassed kushaq. With 1.2 engine. But it's lack lustre on features. Also it doesnot have automatic in offering as well. Tatamotors pls wrk on ur engines and it's refinement.

Citreon C3 gets 1.2 turbo petrol engine in its top varient where as tata punch don't have turbo petrol.

C3 is going to rock 2025 in all cities in India. This is just an example engine to indian market puretech 82.

First I would look for safety ofcourse so punch, but I have heard that it does not offer that much features so i am confused, because punch doesn't have that good mileage.🤷‍♂️

If you're buying car for 10lakh then read this Sat down for purchase of Citroen C3 But returned disappointed from showroom. The car good only at the driver seat, n clear front visibility, the car is somewhere sorted. But move to the rear seat its lack luster in comfort and poor NHV, near foot positioned power window, no centre arm rest. Plastic quality nothing better than Maruti neither fit n finish. Then worst comes Citroen asking for handling charge, way costly insurance and added purchase of accessories which are free of cost from maruti n Hyundai. Engine is only good thing pulls easy to 100kmph, but 3 cylinder vibration persist. Features missing is too much ever Santro Xing XO (2006) had the basics done or a 1999 maruti Zen VXI, they came with rear wiper washer and day-night ivrm. In 2022 car don't have rear camera even, like not a D&N rear view mirror. What will I do with wireless Android auto, but for charging i need cable, totally fuss free wireless problem not solved. What nonsense is all windows auto down but not auto up! Well well no alloy wheels! Buy it extra and take the 4 steel rim with you! What for someone will pay that much hefty amount? Just for front suspension? Then went to Hyundai Drove the venue 1.2L petrol manual, it does the work way good, the engine is under powered on paper but in real life it's totally different, so so good few of my friend who accompanied also agreed with 4 people in car, It's something, silent, has more features, spacious comfortable and yes sub 4m suv with a little more premium. After purchase peace of mind of service. Maruti WagonR is equivalent in rear seat comfort with more noise insulation! Engine is peppy and we get a tachometer, we get rear wiper washer, easy access to service centre, performance is more than adequate, properly positioned switches and a quality indicator and wiper stalk. C3 may be whatever so it doesn't do justice, dam NA C3 is way poor than WagonR 1.2L. Why go for C3??? With lack of service centre through out.

Tata engines are terrible and louder who needs a 5 star iron body with underperforming engine and fit n Finish issues, Citroen did a smart work and appreciate their work at the reasonable price, with new cars being manufactured in India many Indians are getting jobs we should encourage them
