This is well requested test drive of Tata Safari 7 seater diesel version. We liked it a lot but is it worth the price.

The most important thing is Shree Ratan Tata donates 66% of his earnings to charity (many hospitals are being run by that money ) ..You better think twice before commenting something about our Hero …

Safari is a great car and has great aspirational value here in India but I feel toyota hycross that costs a little more than safari is more vfm for that price, the only concern with hycross is that it has a very longer waiting period

👋 hi 👋 Yes it’s a beautiful car and super high safety rating but the price is not justifiable. In the UK I can get a new BMW x5 basic mode for this price so that is something that we just can’t accept. Stay tuned we are dropping an important video tonight

As an Indian, I have to tell you.. Cars are much much much much cheaper in USA than India.. Because taxes are low and in some states (correct me if I'm wrong) its like no tax at all.. Also 2nd hand cars are in great shapes and in mint conditions which is why 2nd hand cars are much preferred than buying brand new... Knowledge from a friend in USA

Bought is Jan 2022(previous version)… I just miss the seat auto memory function and the motorised back door… the new one has electronic power steering unlike mine which has hydrolic power staring … that’s about it..₹6-8Lakh price difference

@@AgnesMann well, as far as driving is concerned I am pretty happy as this is my first Diesel vehicle. The technology has really come a long way and there is hardly any lag. City driving is also not bad though I do think electronic power steering would have made it slightly less tiring. Brakes are really good…I can sense the grip and the additional confidence that I have in stopping the vehicle. (I have/lived and driven in both USA and Germany. I have a German driving licence which is still valid 🙃… so I have a good idea of how a BMW runs at 225kmph (the max I pushed it) on the German Autobhan 🤪 Overall a very good deal!

In india cars r very expensive because of heavy taxation. In recent interviews minister of oil snd resources said we will hike the prices for petrol and diesel cars to such an extent everyone will think of electrical cars and people who cant afford electrical will opt for public transport. Car prices are indirectly hiked by govt intentionally.

@@sanjay_j8889 Both indian SUV are good ,how ever XUV700 engine are the best in category and moreover it is pure Indian technology. But interior of Safari top model are more premium and definitely it is more safe than xuv 700 , also it has some very useful feature like turn indicator linked camera to have view of blindspot. it has the best space for 7 people better than XUV 700 ,Scorpio N and Fortuner. Mahindra has edge over Tata in term of resale value and reliability of engine. In the last own a car is depreciating asset so in my opinion go for what you luv and like.

Lol feels good looking and drives well… but unfortunately it’s so fond of service centre so spend months there, worst customer service and service quality and you get absolutely zero support from TATA as well… huge investments like this needs a crisp after sales service, but its absolutely zero with TATA…

@@AgnesMann trust me i own one of these… bought them right after the launch as a loyal customer… my car is stationary as of today ( almost for the past 8 months).. they ripped (complete fuel line assembly, dct gearbox, power train everything has failed after the service) my car apart in service center and Tata Still insists me to get it serviced from the same dealership and doesnt want to involve their engineers.. as a last leg went and spoke to the regional customer care manager and trust me he is no different than a dealership person.. have filed a case on them now…

@@AgnesMann well TATA just brushes off all these things, and I have written pages and pages of email to TATA and my dealer, right now im determined to take the legal route, which is the only way to get justice… its long and time consuming, but effective… thanks a ton for your acknowledgment… I dont have a malifide intent, however I want to create awareness about the importance of after sales services (be it any brand), to the group who is deciding to invest a huge amount in automobiles…. Its the most easiest forgotten link during purchase decisions..

I own both and xuv 700 and harrier 😂gearbox and that huge clutch of harrie/ safari sucks big time. Feels like a tractor. Be honest mate 😜

Did you also tell about loose panel ....panel and plastic rattling noise ,,, uneven and massive panel gaps ....., unreliable quality of electronics equipment ....., very poor network of service , very poor service experience , very poor in troubleshooting the bug in a car , and most importantly prone to topple easily .....if do so do complete

No. It was just the first impression after the test drive where such things won’t be easily noticed in a short drive. We did end up buying Kia
