Faisal the things on the front bumper..those holes were actually fitting holes for Headlamp washers which the Export variant used to get Still own and drive a 1998 TCIC safari btw 💝 Also that to the right is the oil pressure gauge

There are a lot of missed opportunities with the OG Tata Safari. Could've given more features. Could've given an automatic transmission. Could've given terrain management system. But this amazing car didn't even get cruise control till the end of its life. Missed opportunities.

The new Safari can't be called a Safari. It's just Harrier XL. No Ladder on Frame, no 4x4, no rear wheel drive. 😔 Wish Tata brings a new real Safari. Probably as a strong Hybrid or plug in electric. And derived of a Defender platform.

Owned the Dicor 3L and now own the Storme with 2.2. While Storme's engine is fine, it can't match the grunt of 3L. It was a relaxed cruiser on the highways, chugging along at 120+kmph below 2000rpm.

This engine was developed in partnership with Jayam motors & the change is only to the cylinder head - the rest of the engine is same as the indirect injection diesel engine & hence the crazy NVH. they also placed this engine in a ear ripping, flame throwing single seater formula car - meant for display purpose.

Yes it was 800 is actually its unbraked tow capacity. But clearly, it is at least 600 Nm and 200 hp, considering the normal storme and Scorpio N both have 630 kg of tow capacity.
