She is a very underrated actress, she is so convincing portraying the different characters. Her British accent is excellent too!

I am British myself and obviously every county has a different accent but there is a standard British accent that you would learn to speak in if you were learning English as a foreign language. Every country has different accents for different regions but when you learn French for example you will learn in what is considered a 'standard' accent.

So as a British Actor I was proper proud of her. Because I didn't know she was American because her British RP accent was brilliant! However, in an interview she said she was going for a Lowerclass English accent which I don't think was lowerclass at all! ☺

i agree, sometimes in bloopers i still feel like those characters are themselves weird and watching comic con for a moment i thought where are the others characters that i completely forgot she played all of them

Not only did she play all the characters so that the viewer could instantly tell them apart, she played them so well that you could tell when one character was trying to pass herself off as one of the other characters.

She's a mindblowingly good actress.. In orphan black she makes you totally forget that it's the same person behind like half of the characters xD Most other actor's cant do that kind of thing even with a ton of makeup and costumes on..

@@_LexiMae I sometimes find myself thinking that Tatiana is the actress that plays Sarah only. I have literally caught myself thinking, "It's really too bad Kristian Bruun (Donnie) didn't get to work with Tatiana Maslany (Sarah) more often." Duh. The thing that IS true is that we didn't get to see the characters of Donnie and Sarah together very much. So I was right that Kristian Bruun didn't get to film many scenes that included the character of SARAH, but of course he constantly worked with Tatiana when she was playing Alison. And watching her play the clones impersonating each other is one of the funnest things I've ever seen on a TV show.

Yea Me too. when I watch I think Tatiana only plays Sarah and Sarah as Beth. CosimA and Rachael and Helena are so fully realised it feels like they are all different actresses playing them.

I just finished Orphan Black and my mind is just blown. I cant get over the fact that all those complex, individual characters are actually ONE person. It's crazy. Her acting skills are definitely a new superior level.

Just to challenge her, they should have created a character who was just Tatiana. They could have just handed her a script with a new clone character named "Tatiana". The character of "Tatiana" is a Canadian actress from Saskatchewan. She gets a really good role on a new Sci-Fi TV series. This is my sense of humour.

Krystal is my favourite: just a one-dimensional airhead comic relief stereotype but TM made her a relatable sympathetic character within about two sentences. Best actress on TV.

The simplest way to tell whether an actress is the real deal is to read comments about her that aren't exclusively about her looks. Tatiana is amazing. I just started watching Orphan Black and I've been mouthing to myself repeatedly about how much of an incredible actress she is. She absolutely needs FAR more recognition

I watched all 5 seasons in one weekend. This woman brought soo much emotion to the table I had emotional phases too😭 she played soo many roles 🙂 and each all different. NOT TO MENTION THE Spanish in the last episode, season five. She deserves an EMMY 😪

I love that it's not just her playing a bunch of different characters, it's her costars acting like one person is a bunch of different people and her talking to herself in a group of other characters and her acting like a character pretending to be another character that character knows!

I cannot believe she hasn't gotten more awards for that insane role!! I was in awe for the entire series watching that brilliant acting, I didn't know that one person could be so fucking talented! This not something every actor could do. I even forgot I was watching the same person since they are all soooo different!! Amazing, pure gold this women. She is with out a doubt one of the most underrated actress out there!

Yes that dancing scene. I was like 'How the heck did they do that?' Great special effects :P This show is so intriguing and I have had so many Wtf moments or stuff I didn;t say comming.. You really need to pay attention and I like that :) Tatiana is great actress! Acting out all the different clones shows her talant for sure! :D

I've just got around to watching orphan black and wow it really struck me how talented of an actress she is being able to play all these so very different parts I actually started to think they were different people because of how different she was in each role Amazing ❤️ This show is so so good literally 😍 I actually believed her British accent aswell and I'm British it was so good only one part in the beginning I thought it was fake but now end of season one I actually look at her as British but faking an American accent as Beth.

Arrived on UK Netflix recently Feb.2020, I’m inlove with Tatiana Maslany, a great show... such a talented actress, so many characters all at once and all so different in their personalities, 12/10, Jordan Gavaris is also great as Felix.
