This game was such an underappreciated gem. It's so awesome seeing it get the big stage.

Gameplay wise this is still quite possibly the greatest fighting game created. While I prefer umvc3 this game is a blessing that deserves either a sequel or a rerelease with updated graphics.

Best Capcom crossover game ever

If anyone wonders why this and many other hidden classics released on the Wii and not the other competing consoles, the answer's simply: 1) Wii was the most popular console at the time 2a) It was the cheapest console to develop on at the time 2b) Production values did not have to be high in order to compete with other games of the same genre Basically, if you've got a licensing-nightmare of a game to release - where do you think you'll get the most profit? Plus, at the time, simple gameplay and simplified graphics were heavily looked down on within the other consoles. This game's extremely simple controls (though difficult to master) and base graphics (to reduce production costs, as most of your money's being funneled into paying off the licenses) would've been a joke to most 'gamers' in the 360/PS3 camps. Nowadays, because of the rise of indie games, simpler controls and simpler graphics are actually celebrated, no matter what the console. This game would've been accepted into every console's audience. As for why they don't just bring it to new consoles/PC? Again, the answer's simple: Licensing Nightmare. You think Marvel is hard to get licenses for? It's child's play compared to getting characters from Tatsunoko.

Probably my favorite Vs game, there is just something nice about the roster, the gameplay and the mechanics.

This is what UMVC3 needed, a combo counter to help removed broken infinites and one touch KOs. Use one meter to burst any and all combos with the exception of cinematic hypers and trap hypers. So no more lightining loops and the like! But unfortunately UMVC3 will remain broken!

I love this game so much. My second favorite in the VS series behind MVC2.

I used to play this game all the one when the Wii still had WiFi. And even now this is one of my favorites fighting games of all time. I would love a rerelease or remaster of this game ^^

I just got this game and I love it. So much fun I like the characters the music I wish they kept the animated endings but I’ve literally played it all day unlocking stuff besting the modes. I have all of the versus titles and this one is by far my favorite. I hope they can at least get a port on the switch with some filters to smooth over the graphics a little I know a lot of people missed this game the first time around I’m not the only one

I sort of regret buying this game when I was younger without the arcade stick or gamecube controller, it was almost unplayable on the wiimote. But the game was still immensely fun and should be re-released on newer consoles.

Theres something about this game that just makes it better than most fighting games to me. Always wanted to play it but I was embarrassed to have anything anime related back when I was young. I mostly wanted it to be play as Megaman and Zero but this is still really cool too

Tatsunoko vs capcom should be on steam...

This game really deserves to get remastered or get a sequel. Unfortunately, copyright makes it almost impossible to do so. This game itself was apparently said to be kinda of like a once in a lifetime thing as their had to be a lot of strings pulled just to get the rights for every Tatsunoko character as the rights to them are spread out to different anime companies in the US. It was much easier to do so in the Japan as Tatsunoko of course has the rights to all their character.

This game was my intro to anime fighters (half the roster is Tatsunoko, so i guess it counts). No regrets, even my lityle brothers loved the game and they aren't to keen on anime.
