Just got my first tattoo yesterday. I'm taking care of it 2 times a day soap and water and aquaphor

Aquaphor is king hands down, wont peel wont crack, just use aquaphor that's all🔥🔥

Best advice so far and yes aquaphor most def my tattoos are all 💯💯💯

My tattoo artist told me too use antibacterial foamy soap and lubiderm, i cant find gold dial soap so just got what i could find

Just got mine reworked because when I got it 3 month ago I think I over moisturized. Now am sticking with washing it and putting nothing on for the first 4 days then am going to use some form of moisturizer but for now am keeping it clean and dry

My artist told me not to moisturize/apply cream on the day of getting the tattoo, but to begin doing that from the next day. Why is that? I got my tattoo earlier today and it feels dry after washing it

i just don't get it man. every guy on youtube has a diffeerent opinion on how to take care of a new tattoo. One guy says that you need to let it breath and another says you need to keep it moisturies ALL the time. I got my tattoo on friday (today is sunday), kept my protection film for a few hours, took it off, gave it a sensitive wash with antibacterial soap and then i applied some bephanten to it and i've been wahsing it regulary and then aplying the same cream on it ever since. i now realise i've been using too much moisturiser/bephanten and i'll use a bit less, but besides that, did i took the right steps my brother? 🤔

Why does lotion have to be unscented? Doesn’t make sense to me. Also what about cleaning in between lotion

I just use A+D but am going to switch to Aquaphor. is the only difference a more hydrating effect?

My tattoo artist is a old head, he tells me he has been tattooing for over 40 years and he learned from elders who have been tattooing for a long time, he told me to leave my cover on for 3 days , but it's on my chest, so I don't know if that makes a difference?

Hi rookie question here, just had my first tatt. I was told to use Dial Gold Bar soap. But they're scented though. Then I looked it up it says it's the best overall. Do I still use it?
