That was a great but quick episode. I live in the third biggest city in Brazil and we have a great tattoo scene here. Thanks for a few guys that went to the US back in the late 90ies and brought a bunch of books and magazines we have a big influence of american traditional style and that clicked right away with the São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro skateboard/Hardcorepunk band scene. But we dont have that street shop mindset, most of our work comes from social media and a lot of studios dont even bother to put a sign on the street because isnt a thing anymore. We have hundreds of closed doors studios but just a few street shops. I work in a street shop but in the last year I did 3, or 4 walk-ins and thats crazy when I compare to my friends that work in Florida, New York, Washington-DC. It is awesome to learn about your work, everytime you have a guest on the show Im checking on instagram immediately so Im able to compare my work, measure whats lacking, see what I can do to improve. Im aways wondering if my work is good enough because one of my all time dreams is to leave in the US doing my thing, tattooing and traveling. Youre doing a great job, Im always tuned.

My city in the UK has about 80k people but 15 or so tattoo shops. It helped to keep tattoo price per hour to be around £40 to £60 per hour. Good for customers, bad for the worker.
